Correct, but that was related to the encoder issues. I’ll ship it for repair after I receive the Player. 🤘]]>

KEMPER support has offered to you a repair of your defective front panel. These issues could be related. If the PROFILER fails, it might not be able to manage the Remote appropriately.

Remotes are very stable except either the Remote, the cable or the PROFILER is broken or a third party cable is used, that doesn't really meet the documented specifications. Hardware defects are statistically rare but can happen.

Ah didn't know that. NRPN is not an option on the Stage? No too familiar with these concepts.

Is a PoE injector necessary to accomplish this?

A cool feature, which might be quite simple to add, would be a global setting that lets the kpa switches perform the way it does when Rig manager is connected, like you describe above (whether Rig manager is connected or not of course). There's probably some users that would prefer that functionality live.

Tue, 29 Aug 2023 20:04:08 +0000 Hey everyone,

from what i gather from the manual and posts here, liquid profiles are best done with gain on 10, EQ settings on 5 or 10.

Refining is best done with a guitar with wide frequency response and with hard hitting chords.

What is the best way to set the return level correctly? I listen for clipping and look at the output light to check, if it doesn't start to get into yeallow territory, but a better clipping meter would surely be helpful - is there a better way to check this?

Thanks for any input!

Mon, 31 Jul 2023 07:28:38 +0000 This is what the manual says:

The diameter of the wire is the critical factor. The cable delivered with the Remote meets American Wire Gauge 24 (AWG), which can support up to 7.5m (22ft) length. AWG 26 cables have a smaller diameter and can only support up to 5m (15ft). Cables with higher AWG e.g. AWG 28 should not be used with the Remote.

The lower brightness of the display is an indication that the resistance is too high.

<![CDATA[Stomp boxes saved universal for performance]]> Mon, 24 Jul 2023 13:48:18 +0000 Or press lock and the large stomp section button underneath to lock all 4 at once. I do this then save my favorite stomp combinations to use in several rigs. I have one with compressor, chorus, maybe univibe or phaser I like for clean sounds and one with wah, flanger, phaser, tubescreamer I like to use with distortion sounds. When I add new rigs in a performance that are not effect dependent, I'll usually plop one of those in there.
