If that doesn't work. You might try a different USB cable to connect your Kemper to your PC
N/M you are using the floor which is bluetooth.

Hi There,
What a frustrating experience. Sorry. Here is what worked for me.
In rig manager choose file and open in new window. This opens a second instance of Rig Manager. Now split the screen and put both rig managers side by side.
Put your Kemper in Performance mode, one of the rig managers will change accordingly and show you the five performance slots on the right hand side.
Using the second instance of rig manager, navigate to your profiles and drag what you want into each performance slot.
On the Kemper itself, hit the store button three times and name your performance.
Voila!
Off topic perhaps, but I use a Headrush Pedalboard for Bass. I had that before the Kemper and now use it just for bass or if someone comes over to jam they can plug in. It works well with the Kemper Kabinet.
Additionally, using the morph function you can turn on delays, verbs and drives in the same performance slot.
Thanks for posting. I am interested in the QC too.
I follow Pete Thorn. He seems to like it quite bit, but that guy could make a broom handle with stretched wire across it sound good.
Firefly just launched a Strat series and I love Strats.
The price was $159. Typically I use these as a platform and update the hardware and pickups but the necks on these are great and in reality unless you are going for a very specific tone like 64 blues, or classic strat with the orange drop cap, they are fine to play right out of the box. It should be here on Tuesday next week.
Have you tried the Headrush 12". Its light, inexpensive (compared to other flat response speakers), portable and will sound good.
I do exactly what you refer to above. I use an old Crate APM 75 watt PA I picked up on the cheap, then replaced the 12" speaker in the wedge to a Kemper Kone. Total cost was about $280.
Good luck!
I'll take them as a pair, Total $240 US (£180LBS).
I was hopeful it would be under a $80 for shipping
If you can tell me the price of shipping them to Florida, I am interested at 67 USD each
Hi Ingolf. Thanks for saying hey.
I changed some Kemper EQ settings and dialed back the power on the PA and everything came into focus. Now if I need more volume I use the monitor adjustment in the output section.
I've jammed with it a couple times over the weekend. It sounds great and does what I need it to do.
Thanks Finally, but it’s far too late for that.
Yesterday I profiled a 15 watt Fender clone that I built. Three profiles, clean, dirty and one with a JRAD Melody in front.
That said you are probably right. In a year I’ll look at these profiles and be like, “These are trash!”
I played with the one of the profiles of the amp alone for a couple hours yesterday and the amp side by side. We were all impressed with how close they sounded.
Though it’s cliche to say it, in the small practice space, the feel of amp vs the profile were very different. Nothing that would impact my playing all that much really.
I did have a question which I was able to search for and find yesterday. I kept getting an error no volume when I profiled the amp.
This week I’m going to profile a DrZ Maz18.
Its a 20 year old oversized Crate wedge made out of decent wood. but I do see your point.
I jammed with the Kone last night. To your point, if I went about 75% volume on the wedge power I would get an occasional crackle.
Our space isn't huge and typically we all plug right into my 8 channel PA. Last night I used both, the PA and the Kone (Inside a powered PA monitor). Together they sounded great but regardless of my tweaking, the Kone sounded muffled and underwater when I tried to use it alone. I went through all the paces on page 8 of the output section. I also tried speaker imprints to much the same effect.
To be clear about my connections, I'm using the left main XLR output and connecting to the PA. And the Kone, I'm connecting via the monitor output.
Today I'll be trying to work through this, but it leads me to my question. Kabinet users, is the cabinet, in your opinion, good enough to take just your Kemper head and Kabinet to a garage jam and use it like an amp?
I also have a couple other options, I could put the Kone in one my regular cabs and use my EVH 5150III head through the effects loop. Or purchase 44 magnum or something similar and use that with the cab.
Hi Again,

The Kone is arriving today. I will report back over the weekend
I've ordered a Kemper Kone speaker and I plan to use it in a 75 watt Powered PA, an oversized Wedge. I'm looking forward to experimenting with it.
Its is just for the "amp-in-room" feeling, I'll also plug into my the PA that the whole band plugs into. That's what the audience hears.
Anyone else try using the Kone in a PA as opposed to a guitar cabinet? What was your experience?
Personally I think IR's are a rabbit hole on the KPA.
I would initially avoid as they are not necessary IMO.
So far I agree. The other modelers I've used in the past really required third-party IRs to elevate them. The depth of different profiles is pretty amazing.
At first I was trying to compare it to my Headrush Pedalboard, however I've quickly realized they are apples and oranges.
I couldn't resist though and all weekend I had the Headrush and Kemper on an A/B switch. For the Princeton Reverb tone I like, they are pretty close. Only the most scrutinizing ear could tell them apart blind.
Thank you for all the thoughtful responses. I’ve been on vacation this week so have spent nearly every waking moment with it.
The rig manager software seems pretty straightforward. I was able to find a bunch of amp tones I like plus I have a couple years of IRs. The other modelers (Headrush, Strymon) seem dependent on good IRs. The Kemper seems less so.
I’ve got browser mode figured and I’ll be working on performance mode this weekend.
Thanks again for the warm welcome.
Hi All,
A little humor in the title, but as guy who went from the Strymon Iridium to a Headrush, to a Kemper Rack, I’m drowning a bit as I try and wrap my head around this unit.
For example, I just wanted to build a rig when I opened it up and turned it on. Not easy or intuitive, I’m still not sure how, in fact. Once I installed rig manager though, I was able to find some good tones.
In any case, I’m on day 3 with it and I can’t wait to profile some amps and create some great music.
