Thought it would be good fun and interesting to do a little poll to see who's in for a Remote, who might get one and who will never want one.

Hello, I just ordered one today, but must probably wait a couple of months to put my feet on that beautiful Remote !!!
Looks like the remote is quite popular at the mo,

I'd say that's a *remote* possibility
You need to have an option; "I don't even have my KPA yet, but I've already ordered the remote!"
That would be me. Although by March I'll have the KPA.
After weighing the no dedicated button for EACH of the stomps and effects VS other features, I went ahead and ordered. I guess I'll have to assign the expression pedal switches for those.
What swayed me is:
Although I was on the early bird list, I will wait for a while. Quite $$$ for my needs, compared to $80 for used FCB1010. I also have a Boomerang Looper which I love, so the looper 'feature' is of no use to me. The Remote's integration between hardware/software will be amazing I'm sure, which would be the selling feature for me.
Also, with the price of the Remote, I would be paranoid it would get damaged at gig/stage floor (beer, spit, water, mud etc). With FCB, pre-owned units are always around for less than $100, so I sleep easy
Don't need it. Too expensive. More complicated than my homemade 4 button switch board. So I bought it. This fits all my usual criteria for purchasing objects of desire.
I too feel it is expensive even if other boards are similar priced.
I will wait until there will be a bargain offer and until the the first bugfixes are out.
Ordered.
So glad the bulky, flimsy FCB will go to recycling.
Order form was giving me grief in Chrome (I couldn't confirm the Terms and Conditions, but I -could- display them) but worked in IE.

What swayed me is:
- ONE cable vs. three on FCB (2 MIDI + power cord)
That alone is a reason to get a Kemper remote!

I'm keeping mine for a backup
I've just sold my Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro and I'm going to send an order for my new remote control...
I'm still undecided about keeping the FCB.
Certainly I don't want to carry Lady Bulkiness around just for a spare.

Lady Bulkiness, i like it I wouldnt carry it to gigs as i could if had to get away with one sound and use my guitar vol for cleans and dirty sound changes. but if the remote ever went down, which i doubt it will as its german and needed to be send back to KPA HQ i would have a back up for the gigs. The price id get for a used "Lady Bulkiness" is not worth selling, never know it might come in handy as a chopping board if i turned it up side down lol
Yeah, I'm not sure it'd be worth selling my FCB. I'm not sure I have the original EPROM any more and it's also been modded (Gordius' single cable mod), so I reckon only Kemperites would find it remotely (no pun intended!) interesting...
Cheers,
Sam
Good arguments, guys! I'm putting Lady B. In the closet.

You kids. In the old days, we would use the guitar volume to go from dirty to clean on one sound. No backup needed.
