If I record a loop with one rig (sound) I would be able to add another loop or play along with a different rig without effecting the original, correct?
How about saving the loop? Is this possible?

1. I think yes - your be able to change your rig without affecting the loop sound.2. I don't think your be able to save the loop .
The loop is stored in RAM memory - so if you switch you KPA off it will be deleted. Flash memory in KPA is too low to store your loop.
But it's nice feature request to store your loop on the USB stick:)
Especially if you can store it in wav file format to play or cut it in PC.
Another problem is how KPA will ask for play loop from your USB stick/ or record it . -
the user who accidentally activated the internal looper said that the record kept on playing after a reboot too.

Maybe - or maybe it was a joke (only one user has this issue and no one can reproduce this issue )- but I tell you what I think it may be constructed from what i know. This is only my opinion.

Thanks guys for your replies.
I have a JamMan Stereo which is an extremely capable looper and would love to be using it because it does so much more so much better.
But I still have not found the perfect way to connect it with the Kemper without some type of issue. If somebody has definite knowledge on my questions I would appreciate it so I know what I am doing with my order.

The only way is asking Kemper team, or waiting for the manual release.

Someone reported seeing a selectable looper position in v2.8.1 in another thread, so you will be able to record a loop, and then change sounds to play over the loop or record another loop.
The Only Remote manual that has been made available does not mention saving loops.

Great, now for the saving of a loop.

Yes but it's a quick start guide. We'll see the updated KPA manual and eventually the KFC proper manual
