What's official recommended for using the unbalanced Direct Output (at Git Studio) & Recording guitar DI's with it??

No one here use the Direct Output straight for analog DI Recording? TS to DI Box? If, let me know what cables you prefer to use please, thanks

Have to say,It works like charm for recording the DI of Direct Output(Git Studio) with TRS-XLR and later Re-amp to KPA Return Input!

But Iam interested in the technical background of the Direct Output and using TRS instead of TS Unbalanced.. maybe someone can clear that for me

Hello, I see in the manual etc stated that the Direct Output is a unbalanced Output (Low impedance).

I want to set this on up for Guitar DI recording straight to my Interface (+4dB Line Level XLR Input) so I set my Kemper Direct Output to Git Analog to the signal up to Line level, now the question should I go for

1.just TRS from Direct Out to Interface XLR
balanced
2. or TRS - XLR cable and
better Re-wire the TRS side??

The connecting cable have the cold signal conductor of the cable tied to ground at the source-side only (the unbalanced end of the cable). The load-side of the cable will be connected in a typical balanced configuration

What you guys can suggest me to make it right,
Iam not too much a tech guy,the kemper specs and discuss in forum about the Direct Output confusing me a little.

Hey guys, can you give ne some advice for profiling a pedal like the Sansamp Tech21 Bass Driver DI ? Are you profile CLEAN or DISTORTED, depends right? Without Cab selected? Refining it?
Sorry for asking, I haven't profiled a lot with my Kemper so far, and never a Bass rig.

Would be great to get some tips before!

Hmm perhaps contact the Seller, I payed 20 GBP in PayPal, so about 28 EUR. They just released Amp Profiles, im looking forward to check them later today!!!

What I ment with the restart, was that if you copy merged rigs to the kemper from the rig manager, you have to restart to kemper in order for the new rigs to be visible in the amp browse menu.

Damn, hope they fix this soon, well Im not sure of it's this bug.

for example you have an Merged Profile selected also over the rigmanager, nothing locked. Then load another DI Amp Profile in the rigmanager, so in the kemper. Then select the Amp Button in your actual Merged Profile and want to browse to the Amp tothe imported DI Amp Profile, it's not in the list.
First when power Off and On the Kemper again

Just load in the RM, so in the Kpa

Or is this fixed already? Im not at the newest firmware in the Kpa.

Thanks for the answers guys, so I always done it right already, but wonder about the lock feature now thats why asking better

you know what is annoying, if I load a new Profile or DI Amp Profile in my kemper with the rigmanager, if I want to browse to this Amp then, it's not there to pick in the list, i have to make my Kpa Off and On, then it's available,
