I was hoping to tap into the brains trust of all you great users out there. I just bought a stage profiler, I believe the profiles you download get stored on an external usb device that should be no larger than 3 gig! Can any usb brand be used or do you need a specific brand? Also, once the usb has reached capacity would it be possible to just purchase another usb and continue building your library? Thanks in advance
Hi Im new here

Welcome to the forum! The USB drive is used for backups. Rig Manager is where you would maintain your library (on PC or Mac).

Hi and Welcome! Enjoy your Stage

Like Zappledan said, Load RigManager onto your PC/Mac, download profiles to there and then transfer directly to Stage from the Rig Manager....
You'll figure it ....
More importantly , Welcome to the group !

I have several "no brand name" 32GB thumb drives that I actually get for free when I visit a local computer store. They are only like $5.99 to buy. I use one of those for my backups and profiles. No way you are going to run out of room. I even save all the user manuals, Rig Manager, and OS updates on them.
A backup file is less than 6MB. A single profile is only 6kb. I believe you can fit about 150,000 profiles in about 1 gigabyte.
Even though I have not tried it yet, but I have some 500GB SS drives with USB that I'm sure will work. But that would be severe overkill.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the overwhelming responses. So am I correct that I download rig manager on my MAC download my profiles into rig manager and from rig manager I would upload the profiles directly into the stage?

When the Kemper is connected to the computer via USB, you can simply drag and drop profiles from your file explorer into Rig Manager and audition them there. If you want to save the profile inside the Kemper you hit the Rig Manager button "Store Rig "
If you have profiles on a USB thumb drive and insert that into the Kemper then the Kemper will automatically "store" them inside for you, and you will be able to see them in Rig Manager also.

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it.

Sorry for the late post. Thank you to all of your warm welcome's and links to supports, manuals and band pages they are great and I really appreciate it. The stage profiler is a wonderful little beast and I can't seem to spend enough time on it. I have been going through all my guitars and working out the best sounds and there is some amazing stuff. The options seem limitless.
Like with any new toy however, there are some teething problems that I was hoping to consult the brains trust to help me resolve. I wanted to saving the rigs I like to favourites and performance mode but I have no idea how to do this,. I am sure it's an easy fix but I have been going through the manuals and tutorials and there doesn't seem to be a clear step by step instruction on how to do this, unless I have missed something. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Welcome Sonic!
I started lining up quotes to respond to from your OP before I realised the guys have answered everything for you already.
Sorry but I know essentially-nothing about Performance mode mate so can't help there; never used it.
