I'm a long time tube guy although I used a Line 6 Vetta for years.
I'm considering moving to either a Revv Generator amp or Kemper powered head or rack unit and tube power amp.
Happy to be here.

Hi there Rich, welcome !
Welcome to the forum!
I can solve that problem. A Revv will give you 1 amp and 4 tones to mic up. A Kemper will give you... 1,000+ amps and 10,000+ tones, and you will even save a few bucks for picks and strings.

I have the Powered Rack unit and am delighted with it. If you're in, you may as well go all in.
Here are some resources and if I were shopping again, I'd check out the videos to get the vibe of the Kemper approach to things.

Nice!
Hey guys,
I not sure how to get started. I know a lot of questions and topics have already been discussed, but I guess I need to just jump in and ask, joint he conversation.
I very curious about the powered head and if it is on par with feel and tone as hsi g a tube power amp. Also, I'm curious about the edge ts quality. I've heard mixed reviews of early Kemper effects.
It depends a lot how you're planning to use it. If your normal music event is a few people jamming or a sort of "show and tell" of boutique guitars then a single combo amp with a few great tunes usually fits better and is easier to just get going. I can make the Kemper sound just like an amp in the room, but there will always be someone that "hears" their confirmation bias.
If you're playing live in a band with a broad repertoire it's hard to beat the Kemper.
I think the effects in the Kemper are excellent and hold their own against Strymon as much as possible without having a dedicated device for each effect.
To your Vetta reference, I played the AX2 for years and the Vetta effects were OK, but not even close to the Kemper.
Welcome Sir
