As the title says, I have really enjoyed reading your posts for the past several years as I have debated on purchasing one of these units. You guys/gals helped me to decide to go through with it by sharing all of your experiences, problems, resolutions, etc. So, thanks to all of you!
Anyways, I have had the powered toaster and foot controller for about 2 months (anniversary gift from my wife-bless her) and have finally gotten comfortable with using it. I started out going through one of my cabs- mainly 2x12 w/ C-Rex’s. This is a fantastic way to monitor the Kemper by the way. My only set back with it is you really need to drive it to sound good, just like any tube amp. Which in one way is good because it shows me that it reacts very much like a tube amp. Next, I bought an eminence coax speaker and built the cab that is spec’ed on celestion’s website. It is different and took a little getting used to. And I will stress, install the port tube like it shows- it makes a big difference.
For a summary, I am completely satisfied and love having unlimited access to amp’s I could not afford to purchase.
