I haven't made any music in a long time due to financial and health challenges, but as soon as I do, I'll let you know. Thank you for asking about that, mate.
We have a lot in common when it comes to music - similar "sense of melody, harmony and groove". Only difference is I don't have your chops. At least I'll still be able to rip the keyboard up with blistering, MIDI-edited riffs 'though, thanks to "technology".
Hey, what's your name btw? Very sorry to hear about the health & financial challanges, hope both areas improve for you asap. Absolutely looking forward to hearing your stuff, and MIDI keyboard riffs rule, just ask The Algorithm guy
Damn, that's a while ago. I got my first recording PC around 2000-ish, didn't know the first thing about recording but article after article from SoundOnSound and things started to slowly make more sense....still learning of course
I'm a huge fan of SOS too. Bought it every month for 10 years at least but can no longer afford it. Even created a handwritten catalogue of all the reviews... which I've never used.

Hey Brother Mladen!
Figured I'd return the favour, mate.

I'm Nicky, brother.
Yeah, I can do killer mono-synth lead solos 'cause by slowing everything down I can play the data into the DAW and speed up and edit it from there.
At least, that's how I used to do it on the ATARI back in the Stone Age when I last recorded (1994!)...
Been a long, huge struggle to stay focussed and patient, so I can only hope it's all worth it in the end...
