Thanks again, I do appreciate the replies.

That section of the manual talks about transmitting MIDI messages in Performance mode, I get that.

What did not seem clear to me is that those settings also seem to affect Browser mode's ability to transmit CCs.

Perhaps there is a clear guide on this somewhere but I have not been able to find it.

Many thanks for that, Kemper Support #1

I think that selecting the "MIDI Out" option under the Performance Mode: MIDI setting was the only thing missing. That seems to work as expected now.

Unless I completely missed it, I must admit that this did not seem to be clear in the documentation though.

Perhaps I have misunderstood this functionality but I was hoping this would work in either browser or performance mode so that it could be used to record automation in the DAW, etc.

Maybe someone from Kemper might be able to clarify it.

I tried both ways and the only difference seemed to be that there was no MIDI output when the UI to MIDI option was unchecked.

    Does it work for you?

Very happy about the USB MIDI addition in the latest beta!

Having said that, it seems to be transmitting SysEx only instead of CC/PC messages. Anyone else experiencing that? I'm using a Profiler Stage, btw.

According to the main manual, the Profiler should be sending MIDI CCs and Program Change messages when the expression pedal or switches are operated.

Can others try these settings with your units and let me know what it sounds like?

Pick any clean profile, add the Formant Shift Wah effect before the amp stack and set the settings as shown in the video/image. What does yours sound like?

I am monitoring it through headphones but the problem is not related to that at all.

Here is a short clip demonstrating what I hear with the settings shown in the video:

It sounds fine in the first part (using Formant Shift default "Manual" setting) but nothing like the video clip when I use the settings shown.

I recently came across this old video:

I tried the suggested settings in the first example (for the bass sound) but my Stage sounds completely different, including an octave higher even though the pitch shift is set to -12. It's almost like it is broken except everything else seems to works as expected on the unit.

These are the settings suggested in the video: https://i.imgur.com/QfBZb4e.png

Have there been any changes to this effect that would mean it no longer behaves this way or am I missing something?

I totally get that change is part of life but it is odd they seem to have completely stopped offering something that was already available, as you suggested. Maybe there is more to the story than we will ever know.

I suppose I will just have to enjoy the ones I already have and forget about the others.

I was looking at some of their paid packs a while back but the website seems to have been down for quite some time now which is a real bummer as they provide some of my favourite profiles.

Does anyone know if they are still trading?
