Ive read the manual but am still not understanding the overall function of the knob for DLY+REV. can someone explain it to me like im a 2 year old? LOL

Basically its Series/Parallel routing of whatever is in those two slots. But instead of being EITHER Series OR Parallel you can adjust the balance of the routing and have some of the first effect feed into the second in series while some of it doesn’t and simply runs in parallel.
To get a handle on it load a delay with lots of repeats and a reverb with a very long decay then move the control and listen to the impact on the tails.

The manual includes three graphics illustrating the principles. Have you looked at those? I cannot imagine to explain it any better.

When you have a parallel routing, the delay and reverb don't affect each other.
When you have serial routing, the for example delay first and after that reverb. Your delay will added reverb on top.
And you can choose a mixture of something in between.

This is only half of the story between -100 % and 0 %. At +100% only the wet portion of the delay effect gets reverberated. Between 0 and +100% you have a mixture of serial and that "wet"-mode. The graphics in the manual show it.
