I agree with this, but I'm pretty happy with what the IR is doing to the sound in the DAW/in-ears. I think that is working exactly as it should. My issue is that adding any IR to a DI profile changes the Monitor Output sound to my real cabinet (even when Monitor Cab Off is selected).

This is what i am saying, it just not the same.

No, you can't. External switches are assigned globally, unlike the on-board ones (Stage/controller) that are on Rig base

Thank you!

<![CDATA[10.2.2.49572 update failed via Rig Manager 3.4.51 but OK via USB stick]]> Fri, 22 Dec 2023 11:32:09 +0000 I updated to Rig Manager 3.5.14 a couple of days ago and saw the 10.2.1.48624 PROFILER update . I tried to apply through Rig Manager and it kept failing within the first 30%. I formatted a USB and downloaded the update and put the koas.bin into the OS_Update folder (and the root folder at a different time). The Kemper would not recognize it needed an update. This morning, Rig Manager 3.5.15 showed up as an update for me so I updated it and retried the PROFILER update and it worked perfectly, so I am wondering if it may have just been a bug with Rig Manager 3.5.14 Hope this helps someone.

Actually I was not using a daw. It is just the Focusrite with direct monitoring, so the problem wasn’t the buffer size. It could be a sound card bug as well.

The funny thing is that right after I started this thread, I restarted the Kemper. It works since that, and this time the problem does not come back. Maybe the cure is just to write on the forum :)

Thanks for the hints!

Last I recall, there were two US service centers.

Best to contact Kemper Support and get their recommendation. https://www.kemper-amps.com/contact

Edit: There are actually three now: https://www.kemper-amps.com/de…d%20States%20of%20America

By the way this example is outdated because Adresspage 75 no longer exists since KAOS Version 6 but Kemper still publish examples that can't work

Hello everyone, I have also encountered this problem, I updated it last night and unfortunately the USB audio no longer works. The setting is right and so far I haven't found the solution. I have Windows 10 as an operating system and a strange thing is that when it uploads an MP3 the operating system no longer recognizes it. I unplug the USB proliferate and the MP3 file works. I would like to revert to the previous version....Sorry for my English, all translated by google

The headphones share the same output as the main outs - you hear the same on both. I would open up a support ticket.

Mon, 04 Dec 2023 15:32:37 +0000 Hey there,

just a quick reminder - the general consensus is to use English as the common language here in the forum. There are language-specific areas (also a french one) in the "Babylon - local language threads" section of the forum, where you are more likely to get support posting in French.

From automatic translation, I assume that you had this error during the update process with Rig Manager. One thing to try would be to do the update the "traditional way" with a USB stick instead of using the Rig Manager - that may help. If it doesn't please open a support ticket with Kemper: https://www.kemper-amps.com/contact

<![CDATA[But I don't want to use USB audio... How do I use SPDIF like before, is it possible?]]> Sat, 02 Dec 2023 13:19:09 +0000 I’ve managed to get something working but there is no doubt the menu’s inside output section have changed and as a result I’m sure I can’t quite achieve what I was doing before due to the splitting options. The different types DI, Stack, Mono Left etc are only available on particular outputs. I wish I had a picture of it before. I also don’t really understand terminology of the input type where you choose if you’re ramping or recording because I have to have it NOT on ramping to get what I want. Like I said in my original post, why would DI outputs be available if you were reamping? You’d never use that

you can lock the position of the volume pedal by activating the VolPedLck function on the volume pedals setting page in the rig menu. Please note that you need to do that for the browse mode and perform mode!

Thank you

<![CDATA[USB Audio not working on 10.2 Beta]]> Here steps that helped me.

Wed, 29 Nov 2023 06:35:10 +0000 I had the same problem as you! And I mannaged to solve it (for me at least). I was able to run sound in windows to profiler via usb until yesterday evening I decided to update to 10.2... So it was long night to find a solution.

Here steps that helped me.

1. Install asio4all or suitable asio driver (I have motherboard with realtek so I use asio4all)

2. Install voicemeeter. It's software mixer to rout windows sound to asio

3. set in windows settings output to voicemeeter

4. set in voicemeeter output to asio4all

5. and finally set in asio4All output to profiler

Hope it will help you!
