The local rigs are stored within the Rig Exchange database? Sure about that?

The .kipr files are in a Temp file. BUT, if you want to, you can easily make a local directory copy - just drag and drop them out of the Rig Manager window into a Windows folder. There are around 14mb of them, and it takes just a couple of minutes to do.
