Sorry to say that Profiler OS 9.0 is not compatible with Rig Manager 3.2. The latest Profiler OS that will communicate with it is 8.6. The updater does not offer a new version because Rig Manager 3.3 and later is 64-bit only.

Thanks, we did not know this. To save a rig from a performance slot in the Profiler, you can drag it to the Profiler Rigs location in Rig Manager. The menu entry "Preview in Profiler" does not make any sense in this moment, because you are already previewing it since you selected Slot 2.

The version installed is 3.3.50
You need to update to 3.3.55. It can be found in the Download section "Older Software Versions".

And what are your taskbar settings? Is it always visible or set to auto-hide?

All Rig Manager components are fully Apple Silicon compatible, but any installer that contains a script will make macOS ask for Rosetta, even if all commands run by the script are also fully Apple Silicon compatible. This is something Apple needs to fix, we can't do anything about it.

..and I aslo Noticed it is actually Possible to Change the Author's Name of any rig. Really?!?! I've missed it since When??
It has always been possible. What you still can't change is the amp and cab author.

An online update for Rig Manager 3.3.45 is available that is supposed to fix the problem. Website downloads will be available later.

Native resolution is always the best setting for any high DPI monitor. If RM could scale the UI and Text, that would be ideal.
Which screen (not text) scaling do you use? 200% ?

What if I rate them after storing them into my Kemper profiler? Is RIg Exchange able to see that rating and count it?
I've honestly never rated anything until after I stored them to "My Profiles" folder. I've also never even gone into the Rig Exchange folder on RM (You just reminded me they have one). I would just go to the Rig Exchange website and search for what I wanted, save to disk, then drag and drop into My Profiles folder. I guess I've been doing this assbackwards since the beginning.
No, Rig Exchange will only take your rating into account if you directly preview a Rig in the Rig Exchange location in Rig Manager and rate it there. As soon as you copy it into your Profiler, the rating will only be stored locally on your computer.

This beta is not showing up for me with my win 8.1 machine. It doesn't show with "check software updates" and I have beta versions enabled.
I opened up RM on a Win 10 machine elsewhere and was offered it. Are they excluding Win 8.1? If so, can you move an RM backup between these two versions? Maybe not. Is there info on that in the documentation for the new version?
Rig Manager 3.3 requires Windows 10 64-bit (while the latest 3.2 still supports Windows 8.1 and 32-bit). The backup files are still 100% compatible, so you can easily move your local libraries to the new computer.
Best regards,Arne

In the "Tools" menu of your old Rig Manager installation, choose "Backup Rig Manager Content". It will create a backup file that contains the complete folder structure of all Local Library Rigs, Presets and Performances. Copy that file to your new PC, and choose "Tools/Restore Rig Manager Content" in the new Rig Manager installation. Point it to the backup file, and you're done.
Best regards,

Arne Last tests:
he 3.1.60 installation has finished and the Rig Manager is reactive as it has finished syncing the rigs presets and performances. On my Kemper I still have the message "Syncing Performance 55 of 125" and it was stucked there. No Sysncing message in Windows anyhow.
After a while I switched the kemper off and restarted it. It was not recognized by the Rig Manager.
I closed and restarted Rig Manager and got the same error mesage as before, "Rig Manager will quit now due to software conditikon that can not be recovered."
I then restarted my PC and Rig Manager started again with no problem and has recognized the Kemper and finished the Performances sync.
After that:
1.Close-restart Rig Manager with a running Kemper - Kemper not recognized.
2.Leave Rig Manager running and stop - Restart the Kemper - Rig manager does not see it.
3. On the third try, Close-restart Rig Manager - a messages pops up saying that "Rig Manager needs to be updated".
4. Next Try ( close - restart Rig Manager comes with the error above:"Rig Manager will quit due to ...'
5. Next time Rig Manager starts but still does not see my Kemper. The wheel that usually pops up when it is syncing with the Kemper comes but for a very short period of time.
So on my PC I still have problems.
Sorry to hear this, I was quite sure that the update would fix it for you. Could you please send the latest DebugLog.txt again?

@ Arne
I tried installing this latest (60) build over whatever was installed - probably beta 59. I am on Win 8.1 and device manager still reports no driver is installed for the Kemper Profiler.
Is there a specific procedure that you have in mind for getting this to install the driver on a machine where there is no driver installed?
Of course it is supposed to work out of the box after installing Rig Manager, no matter if there was a different driver installed before or not. Anyway, we have identified 4 different problems when updating to 3.1, and the update to 3.1.60 was supposed to fix three of them. To find out what your problem is I need some log files. Did you already open a support ticket?

I have installed the 3.1.59 with the profiler running. The installation worked, it recognized the profiler than performed updates of the rigs, presets and performances for 40 minutes!
Restarting the Rig Manager brings out a fatal error and the Rig Manager does not start anymore. Tried it twice same error, see attachment.
Uninstalled the 3.1.59 using the Kemper driver removal tool and control panel to uninstall Rig Manager, then reinstalled 3.0.45.
Even this one hasn't recognized the profiler, the trick here was to go to the driver manager under other devices, and with a right click on the Profiler device choose update driver. Afterwards everything worked as usual with the 3.0.45.
The Debuglog has 2 MB, I have compressed it witz 7zip and renamed the file txt to allow uploading it.
Hope this helps the developers to identify the problem.
I think I will try again and apply the trick with the device manager even with the 3.1.59 version and hope that it solves the problem. I'll have to spend another hour for this.
Dear Cantemir,
there is a problem with the new Rig Manager that shows up only on a few Windows installations, and yours is one of them. The trick with the device manager won't help. If you like, try out this update:https://www.dropbox.com/s/ca9a…Windows%2064-bit.msi?dl=0
Thanks for your patience and best regards,
Arne

Dave, Lokasenna and everyone else who hasn't done so yet, would you please open a support ticket? If the problem is that the Profiler is not recognized after the 3.1 update, we need the following files to find out what went wrong:
Documents\Kemper Amps\RigManager\DebugLog.txtDocuments\Kemper Amps\RigManager\InstallationLog.txt
C:\Windows\INF\setupapi.dev.log
Sorry again for the trouble. -
hi, i tried but the same problem remains ?
Thanks
Gigi
It seems an old Protools installation is preventing the Rig Manager installer from completing. It might be worth trying the solution mentioned in here:
