Thanks for the feedback. I usually lean towards darker profiles with a 57 mixed with a ribbon. This time I used a 421 with a high shelf boost at the board. My Atomic CLR that I usually use to monitor took a crap so I’m using a Friedman ASM-12, which is an inherently darker sounding cabinet. Probably overcompensated a little too much.
I agree. I'm surprised that the Kemper didn't automatically think they were a DI profile.

Didn't mean they were DI profiles, he mentioned they were studio. I meant that when profiling, the Kemper will think it's a DI profile and automatically turn off the cab section, so you can't edit it. It usually happens with very bright profiles, like when profiling GreenBacks.
It's really an annoying "feature".
After some trial and error I'm back again with a couple free profiles of my Wizard MTL. Profiled through a Friedman 4x12 using a 57/421 blend - 1073 preamp - SSL mixer. Both are studio profiles capturing the lead channel - profile 1 has the boost knob on the amp pulled (on) and profile 2 has the boost knob off.
Please help me, help you. Let me know your thoughts. Constructive criticism welcomed and appreciated. Thanks!
