Kemper MIDI device is also visible in REAPER.

the Remote looper is not required. Just activate a delay in the rig and use the infinity switch to create a loop and then morph the delay time while the infinity loop is playing.
Thanks Kemper Support #1 - I'll give a try.
-
you can activate infinity and morph the delay time to achieve this.
not quite sure, how to do this? it still requires looper to be engaged and also delay?
have a rig with delay, activate infinity in delay, make a loop, play the loop, and change/morph delay time, while loop is playing?
-
No. You can record half time then play back double time up the octave or record double time and playback half time down the octave but that is all.
Roger that, thanks. At first I thought it was delay thing, since this was delay pedal, but it is a loop thing and there is no rotary dial on Kemper Remote, which would squeeze the time. It could be any rotary dial on Kemper itself. But it is not implemented. Making it feature request would not make it any priority I think for development, as this is clearly fun thing.

Is is possible with Kemper looper, to record sample and the squeeze time for this loop, like Paul Gilbert does on BOSS DD3 (sample starts at 0:08, time changing at 0:11):

I noticed the same, however I launched Rig Manager today and there are 2 new rigs after 2 weeks...

Maybe do a shootout with the Yamaha THR?
I think it would be interesting, I wonder how 5" speakers and wooden enclosure add to the sound. I might test it against my THR30II (3.5" speakers), once it's available somewhere around.

Boss "updated" their Katana Air with "EX" model:
Compared to Boss Katana Air (on the left):
- Stereo sound with 2 x 5” speakers, 35 Watts
- Five preamp types derived from the Katana amplifier series
- Three independent effects sections with three selectable variations in each
- Access to over 50 effects
- Wireless technology with ultra-low latency (wireless transmitter included)
- Six onboard memories (banks)
- Updated BOSS Tone Studio app for Katana Air (iOS/Android) with visual amp/effect structure and YouTube playback feature,
- USB recording out, Stereo Line Out with mic’d emulation for PA mixer and recording
- Runs on eight AA batteries, optional BTY-NIMH/A rechargeable battery (not included), or included AC adaptor
- Bluetooth
- DOESN'T have a looper...
- Dimensions (W x D x H): 492 x 264 x 326 mm
- Weight: 7,6 kg (16,7 lbs)
I think 5" speakers and wooden enclosure will contribute to the sound.
Wondering when (if) Kemper will hit a market with such device.
I'm using my THR30II 90% of the time.
Price: 629 Euro... pricey

Anyone playing desktop amps here?
What are your impressions?

Hi Anthony,
I had a chance to play Kemper through Laney LFR 112, hoping that it will sound "better" that praised Yamaha THR10.
Sadly it was harsh and boomy. Hi gain amps (PV5150, Rectifier) sounded "good", because hi gain amps cover the sound with "chugga chugga". But clean amps and crunch were either sterile or lifeless.
Never had any success with any FRFR.

did you update through RM or via USB Stick
via RM
-
I'm on Toaster(Head) Profiler, I have latest BETA FW 10.1.0.47341B installed by RM and for me Bright Cap Control in RM and on the Hardware worked correctly.
-
I'm on Windows 11, using USB2 active hub TP-LINK UH720, I have Kemper running on it, ARTURIA MIDI keyboard, I transfer files from my Android Phone and connect USB pendrive. Works stable all the time.

Free 6505 To Rectifier 4x12 Liquid Profile.
Tried the new Liquid tech today and it really works.
This profile sounds amazing and the eq and gain reacts like the real amp !
https://u.pcloud.link/publink/…qz2AWCDjaE2uXjIbmzuSPJUKVHi mickrich
I downladed your profile and noticed, that when I enable Legacy Delay tha is in the profile, it disappears after fraction of second, the tails are cut off immediately.
When I change this delay to another effect/delay in thi slot and then switch back to Legacy Delay, it works correctly.
I'm on 10.0.0.46696
Could you confirm this?
-
It works now with 9.0.7 Beta, thank you @G String

Hello,
RM 3.4.32
Windows 11
Current OS 9.05.45603
I am trying to get new beta using RM:
But RM says that software is up to date:
Anybody experienced the same?
-
Thanks Ruefus - I did not mean this specific song, but rather, how to set the delay and how to play it.
I don't understand Spanish language.
-
I know it's not Kemper specific, but what type of delay should I choose and how to set the parameters - and HOW to play it, so the delay repeats the same notes as I play in tempo?
Something like this:

ok - your earlier post indicated you could use a USB hub if it's active (powered). My passive hub works as well as a direct USB C to B adapter from the laptop, in that both work but the connection is still a bit finicky. I think the Profiler just doesn't like to have any adapter or hub between it and the laptop -- which is tough when many laptops no longer have USB-A ports.
I'm not sure if USB-C ports feed more power to external devices, but classic USB-A has 500mA to be shared across all connected devices.
Profiler is dumb as any electronic device. If the adapter/hub delivers enough power, Profiler just sees USB connection. If it's passive hub, devices must fight for 500maA and they get discontented time after time.
