Karlis, glad to see you over here, man. This guy has the hands down best Tonex captures. I can only hope and expect that his KPA profiles are as great!
Don't have access to my Kemper, but when I do i will check this out.

I use 2 Source Audio Dual Expression pedals with my AXE III. 2 outputs, one with an adjustable resistance pot. No toe button, but I use thresholds to activate. I believe the Mission works the same way. BTW the SA is about $100 used.

I'd guess this is some kind of proprietary technique. I don't thin Kemper would do component-level modeling, that's just not how they have done things so far (supposedly). Although I'm sure they have looked at the schematics in the process.
I respectfully disagree to a point. All their FX are modeled, so there is a basis to assume the tone stacks are coded. We'll see soon enough.

Windows 10 set the Profiler as my audio source automatically and defaulted back to my Focurite 6i6 as soon a the KPA was shut off.
After adjusting the USB audio level to blend Youtube with my current profile, it was a kick and sound pretty good to have everything come out of my 2 Kones, via a Ritter 2x180X amp

Mike, bought the last 2 packs. The Cruchny Soldano 30, Freidman, and Marshalls are killer. Well played my friend.
Is Lonestar ever going to make it up to the Tupelo in Derry, NH again?

Has it?
Can someone explain machine learning because so far all I've seen is more complex algorithms rather than what I understand as machine learning.
Machine learning to me is taking multiple complex inputs and then apply this to future calculations. With a capture, you capture the input as accurately as possible, so where is the machine learning?
Someone please show me I'm wrong as I'm sure I am....but feels like marketing buzz words...
NAM is free so there is no marketing agenda, it's a free science project with some great results based on machine learning according to it's MIT educated designer. He's not going around telling everybody it replacing anything other than try this cool thing I came up with. JM2C

Machine learning has advanced capturing/profiling to a new level. What's to say AI can't improve upon modeling as well. The ultimate resource will/may be an integration of both technologies. Beware Skynet

Adding USB audio is a gamechanger for me, and to have it as a SW update is inconceivable. Most companies would have made it part of a new product.

Curt Mangan 9s and 10s. Round core, I personal have grown to like round core better than hex. I don't break strings, so the added robustness of the hex core is immaterial to me.

I'm using a Tonex pedal as a pedal platform using mostly Amalgam Studio's captures(Train Wreck, Carr Mercury, and Fender Bassman). It's pretty phenomenal tool. Kemper is a fantastic tool and I have loved it for years, but machine learning has me wondering how much longer I plan on keeping it.

Phat Cats are just ok, I have Bare Knuckle Nantucket's in a PRS SE Singlecut. Like those way more. P Rails are cool, but great with the Tripleshot pickup rings for 4 different sounds. I also like Fralin Big Singles, different from a P90, but imagine a single coil on roids(and noiseless). I put a pair in a Squire Telecaster.

thanks, will try them out

Interesting life and impressive resume! Another goalie/musician here, neither to your level, but 2 great talents, none the less.
Cheers, and good luck with your tech dilemma.
