Boss "updated" their Katana Air with "EX" model:
Compared to Boss Katana Air (on the left):
- Stereo sound with 2 x 5” speakers, 35 Watts
- Five preamp types derived from the Katana amplifier series
- Three independent effects sections with three selectable variations in each
- Access to over 50 effects
- Wireless technology with ultra-low latency (wireless transmitter included)
- Six onboard memories (banks)
- Updated BOSS Tone Studio app for Katana Air (iOS/Android) with visual amp/effect structure and YouTube playback feature,
- USB recording out, Stereo Line Out with mic’d emulation for PA mixer and recording
- Runs on eight AA batteries, optional BTY-NIMH/A rechargeable battery (not included), or included AC adaptor
- Bluetooth
- DOESN'T have a looper...
- Dimensions (W x D x H): 492 x 264 x 326 mm
- Weight: 7,6 kg (16,7 lbs)
I think 5" speakers and wooden enclosure will contribute to the sound.
Wondering when (if) Kemper will hit a market with such device.
I'm using my THR30II 90% of the time.
Price: 629 Euro... pricey
