I'm using Dosdude's patcher on an Air previously maxed on High Sierra. Works just fine and has pretty much since the OS10 beta was released.
I am using Opencore Legacy Patcher on an old 2011 13" MACBOOK PRO with Ventura. Using RM, MainStage and Logic on this old piece of silicon.

Looked at Dosdude's stuff and whatnot years ago but it seemed like a bit of a rabbit hole so here I still am.

I must say I was very-disappointed when I saw that my OS won't run the latest Rig Manager iterations anymore.
