Gibson have been churning out overpriced rubbsh for years imo, they don't listen to their customers and the current CEO couldn't steer a car in a straight line never mind a muilti-million$ company. Sad indeed.

No, on the mac. How can I format it on a broke KPA?
Ok, just wasn't sure whether the stick was pre-formatted before crash. You might want to try a different stick, it can be picky with usb's
-
I had tried with OS in root before and now tried with the OS Update Folder as well.
Still the same result.
And you have formatted the USB stick on the Kemper?
-
That's what I tried to describe unter 3.
Unfortunately it was not successful.
Ok if you haven't tried, perhaps create "OS Update" folder in usb root, put kaos.bin in there and try again, also check usb is formatted correctly.
-
Have you followed these instructions?
'Expand the downloaded .zip archive and search for the update file called "kaos.bin" inside. Copy the file into the root directory or "OS Update" folder on the pre-formatted USB-stick using your Mac or PC. Next, unmount the USB-stick from your computer and plug it into the Kemper Profiler. Follow the on screen instructions which will appear after a couple of seconds'.

Pleased it worked out.

I think software prob, you might want to send a backup to Kemper support. I'd also be rolling the FW back to previous
