Hello everyone
I got my KPA PowerHead and Remote last Saturday and now I am building my rack solution. I want to mount my Kemper Remote inside the rear case lid for transportation. I already filled out the whole lid with foam and cut away space in the middle to put the Remote inside (see attached image).
Now I need to find a solution to make sure, that the Remote keeps in place when the rack is carried around or even turned upside-down. I have a few ideas in my mind with some strap systems or even Velcro. But all the solutions would end in a slightly destructive way for the case lid (cutting out a slit or drill wholes in the aluminum to attach a Velcro/band). I have one more idea which is less destructive:
Glue some strong magnets which have the same height as the rubber sockets below the Remote to the wooden part of the case lid. This leads me to following question:
Will magnets (strength ~3kg) harm my Kemper Remote (while it is turned off)
Happy to hear your inputs!
