Sent the bag back to amazon. I ended up ordering the official kemper bag. I've used it in the past and it worked well. Was just trying to save a little money. Thanks for the suggestions!

Got the bag from amazon. Toaster and remote fit easily but I’m not sure I want to carry this onto a plane. There’s almost too much room inside and the padding is non existent.
-
Thanks! And this fits both the toaster AND remote? Good padding?

Also available from US vendors (Amazon) for $25 with free returns. No brainer for me, I've ordered on and will report back.
Do you have a link? I couldn’t find it
-
Don't think so. It fit's quite well. No additional space. But I will check again...
Looking forward to your findings

I’m sure this has been asked before but a search brought up over 100 results I didn’t want to read through
Does the Thomann Kemper bag fit the remote on top like the Kemper bag does?
-
I believe I have the monitor situation bacvk top normal. For some reason, my interface was adding a second input on top of the input
I was in. Thus creating a weird flange effect...which is basically what I was hearing. Now
I have to figure out why it sounds like this through my 1960 cab using the power amp from the kemper. -
Have you registered your new Profiler?
This enables write access to the "Private forum" sections.
Yes, and right after I posted this question, the "create thread" appeared!

Thank you and play guitar!

How do I post there? I used to be able to but don't see a way now. I'd like to post about a sale going on this weekend for commercial profiles I make.

Here’s a stupid question
How stable is the latest beta firmware that I installed?

Welcome back, Rich!
Mate, the resets you've done aren't technically "full factory" ones. If you create a support ticket...
... you can ask the guys to walk you through the procedure that restores the unit to the state in which they all leave Kemper in Germany. If you're willing to do this, it would be a definitive way of ruling out all potential software-setting causes to your issue IMHO, making the effort well worth it.
Support may ask you to send a backup of your machine instead so they can troubleshoot / sound-test in-house. Inquiring minds prefer to determine the cause of things, after all.
I will definitely do this. Thank you

If its the same from different outputs then it must be an onboard thing like an effect or an EQ setting.
Anything to do with Routing ?
Also, maybe check the EQ setting as it might be defaulted to something non-flat.
It’s the same with every profile. Stock, commercial, my own, etc. nothing to do with the eq or effects.

Ok so I recorded a short riff. While recording I was still hearing what I’ve been explaining. When listening back, the sound was different. More like it’s supposed to be. Very strange.
-
It should feel fat and natural like it always did. Can you provide a recording and contact support as well?
I may not be able to record anything until tomorrow unless I do a quick iPhone recording
-
Welcome back Have you tried a factory reset and start again ???
Hey man!
I’ve done all the resets and it sounds the same. It has this high pitched plink sound on top of everything and very shrill.
-
I’m wondering if it’s just my ears. It’s really plinky sounding if that makes sense. Chugging on high gain profiles is really stiff and doesn’t breathe at all. It’s been almost 3 years since I owned a Kemper and I’m having a hard time remembering what it sounded and felt like through my cab.

If it doesn’t change and going back to normal after hitting INIT GLOBALS I'd contact support.
Is this a new machine or bought used?
It’s new from Sweetwater.
-
I played my Powerhead through my 2x12 Jubilee cabinet today. I promise there was nothing bright and stiff about it.
There is something amiss in the settings, I think.
That’s what I’m hoping
-
You might also do an Init Globals. There's a button for that on the first page of the SYSTEM menu.
Yup tried that earlier. I have Michael Britt helping me out too
