Probably a good point about the points, be better if someone could point out where the points are though, otherwise not much point in all this.

Think Steve Cradock plays the amps. Caught OCS at a gig the other week. Sounded amazing.
Just grab the profiles maybe?
-
The older ones start getting crows feet around the input and output knobs
-
After years of hard work, a lot of practice and effort, I can make a Kemper and a Modeller sound bad
-
Take this with a grain of salt if necessary as useless at tech. Got a feeling windows may only be able to cope with 1 usb connection, although I may have read there is something asio4all can do to change this somehow? Long post to say why use the focusrite at all in that scenario, maybe input / output from your soundcard (realtek whatever)?

There are a lot of different models of the JCM 800

Watch some of the profiles don't fall out of the gaps in the back. Other than that should be fine.

It's worth browsing the "Hidden Gems" thread from the Hot Topics section.
You'll find things such as this: Morgan AC20 by rmpacheco.
Saying that I've been happy to pay and support some of the well known profilers just because I dig what they do and there is an art to capturing great profiles.

Be great if M.Britt et al made recall sheets for some / all of the amp settings
-
If liquid profiling actually means, as some as said, that I can use one '69 Plexi profile and reach over and tweak the knobs and get essentially the same result I'd get from the "real" amp, then this would be a HUGE game changer. As other have said, no more having to have 10 profiles of the same '69 Plexi to get different basic tones.
My only concern is that if we only now need 1 profile of any amp, the little room inside the Kemper where all the profiles are kept will become a bit echoey.
I suppose it will make it lighter though.

and look like a nerd onstage???im old enough as it is,,
Hey, I wasn't going to mention the loon pants, Dave Hill boots and the Ziggy Stardust top you wear ...

thats cool, but I was hoping for a mini kemper player for stage and studio work, small, light, modern,EASY to read,,load 5 amps and go...
My eyes are shot and even with 3X readers, I cant use the Kemper anymore, The little green screen is just too hard to read, and no, I do not use a computer with it,,Honesty, since I found the Morgan profile 10 years ago, I was/am,, completely happy with the sound,,,
Just not the form,,,and display,
so,, as sad as it is, Its time to go in a dif direction,,But,,, I waited for you Mr Kemper,,I wanted to give you more money for your great stuff,,We've been together from the start,,I'll always remember our first gig together,,,all the good times,,the sessions, where I wowed the producer with all the amps inside this magic green box,,,good times,,, for sure,,but,
I dont need better software, I need a modern, small, portable, easy to use, hardware solution,, with a screen I can see in daylight, on a big outdoor sun lit stage,,( I found have what works for me, even with its limitations)
The update is still cool.. if your a tweaker,,I'm a player, jus a workin stiff that needs great, easy to use, tools,,,You will always be in my rack,,just a little dusty,,,Thanks for the memories,
Tough crowd.
You can go up to strength 6 with reading glasses

Welcome and enjoy your Stage mate.
As has been suggested, I'd start out "simple".
For many there's no need to take it beyond that.
No need to be rude about me, I keep trying
