Can I please get a button and display to monitor and turn on/off the KEMPER tuner in Rig Manager
...and a beer?
Ok... I'll get my beer... can you fix the other bit?

I just went to the local computer shop and bought a short CAT6 network cable for home so I didn't have a huge length of cable sitting there... and I'm pretty sure if you're live you could have 10 of these as back up and replace them as needed. And have them in bright colours if you so desire.
easy peasy
I play my bass or guitar through a DBX 160A rack or 1176 then into any "front of KPA" pedals then into the KPA... where I'll also dial up the Kemper compressor.
I like an analogue comp prior to entering my Kemper.
I use to shy away from the KPA compressor thinking I was over doing it using two compressors until I read an article where Jimmie Page would do 2 in series... so I stopped thinking about it. Experimented and used my ears more and through away my beliefs in some magical rule book.
Awesome!
Will try these tonight
A single button would be ideal... currently you have to lock each one individually
actually being able to double click any of the knobs would be great! You can't adjust delay settings this way yet... you have to try an move the knobs... not so easy
Ya know... I really dig my Kemper, and having the editor in Rig Manager is fantastic.
Big need of improvement is the file management in Rig Manager... it's not even as good as Windows 3.1 file manager.
You think it would be easy to grab just that directory from a back up and put in back into my current setup in Rig Manager but this is not the case.
I goofed and deleted a directory of profiles, and I have no idea how I did that but it took a fair amount of work to get that directory reestablished in my current Rig Manager. Even the simple task of being able to drag a folder from your computer into Rig Manager is currently no possible... it will import the profiles and sod your nested folders even if it's only two
Would love to see it improve in the near future
This monringstar is incredibly flexible and small for all the power it can punch
Grab one of these... very well thought out midi controller
Well... after I mentioned to the Colorado office that the fault in the network connector is a Kemper issue not an operator issue. They've decided to check the unit for themselves.
Now I just have to try and live without the Kemper
In case this information is useful, the Profiler can be modified to have an ethercon jack. I don't know many details, but heard about it through British Audio out of Nashville.
That is useful... there is no way this got yanked on. I think Kemper just put crap connectors in.
...and my unit is out of warranty so I have to pay to get it fixed.
cheers
So you aren’t married, then...?
... "No dear, I've had that guitar for years...
Where the fun in that?
I have the exact same issue with my Toaster.
I've put in a message to Kemper support. I hope I receive the same kind of care
cheers
Steve
I have a great TS808 reissue that sounds fantastic... I do like the Green Screamer but I have to agree it's not as open sounding as the real deal. I tend to just use the little green box and occasionally double up with the on board GS for some tonal difference but really haven't found a setting that's as nice as the real box.
Awesome...
mix is sweet... but if you could then isolate the bass for a measure that would be ideal
Pretty hard to hear the quality of your bass profiles...
I was going to buy a remote but when I got one it would not boot up. Since that time I have decided to stay with my Voodoo GC, especially since the release of the Line6 Stomp ( will use it with that too).
As with anything electronic, there can be some duds. Overall I thought the build quality seemed good on the Remote. So I don't think you should be worried about quality. Though I would purchase a second cable if it was me.
I still might get a Remote some time down the road, just for ease of integration with the Kemper.
Pretty sure you can just swap in any CAT6 network cable if you somehow damage your KPA remote cable
