Paid or otherwise and what effects are you using?

While I've listened to them for years I never learned any Dire Straits songs. Been learning Sultans of Swing lately and Mark Knopfler very quickly shot to one of my favorite guitarists and it's completely opening up a new way to play the guitar for me. Absolutely phenomenal stuff.

Yea I read that wrong

Received, many thanks!
-
Yea it's possible. Check pages 301-302 in the main manual.

Thanks Burkhard. I bought my Kemper in 2017. As I said I haven't used these presets before so wouldn't have deleted them, at least on purpose. Will open a ticket.

Best bet is to just go back to what was working and wait for the official release
-
One for support perhaps
-
Yes that works as expected but I'm looking for the 18 cabinet presets that should be already there per my above quote from the manual.
-
Is a cabinet impulse response different to an impulse response?
From the manual:
QuoteCabinet Impulse Responses
Cabinet presets are also commercially available from third party companies in the shape of so-called “impulse
responses” (IR). These can be imported into KEMPER Rig Manager™ (version 3 and upwards), available for Mac®
and PC, and from there into your PROFILER. To find such imported cabinet presets, first press the CABINET button,
then use the BROWSE knob. OS versions from 5.5 onwards 18 cabinet presets based on impulse responses
provided by Celestion® are pre-installedWhen I press the cabinet button and use the browse knob per the above it's where I see the 6 I mention in my OP. On rig manger I see them when I right click on the cabinet and go to cabinet presets, which according to the above is an IR.

Hi folks,
IRs are something I never bothered with but was reading up on them in the manual and it says there are 18 available in the Kemper (p. 97 of the manual) but when I try to bring them up I'm only getting 6 both from rig manager and the Kemper itself. I'm on version 8.something so they should be in there. What am I missing?

He's possibly the most famous profile creator so I would hope his own!
-
Nah I don't like trying beta versions of anything, happy to wait for all of you to root out the problems so they are fixed by the time I use the production release

I believe 'improved: overall performance" is another way to say "We've further optimized the code, but y'all can't see it."
Startup time is within 10 seconds of a QC (Toaster/Rack). The Stage is quite a bit quicker.
I just timed my rack. 1 minute 1 second.

I wish for a faster startup time

I'm not sure what you're expecting from customer service 7 years after the fact.
You've came on here to tell your story, Kemper Support came on and checked your ticket and told the same story as you did yet apparently that's them being not helping the customer, sarcastic and playing to the fanboys. Bizarre conclusion. Ironically your replies to Kemper Support are quite sarcastic.
I don't see how you can claim that it hasn't gotten better since you don't have a problem with your unit and so haven't opened a ticket and haven't engaged with the customer support process at all, you've just complained about a long closed ticket.
Going by your thread title you clearly had your mind made up before you typed the first sentence so I doubt your post has anything to do with offering an olive branch.
I hoped the customer service would get better, hence holding off from sharing my experience.
Sharing my experience was to help current users in the long run.
People will only realise that when they're in the same position as I was.
It hasn't got better and that's evident from the response on here. Support not helping the customer, more of a sarcastic game of pointing out the story to all the Kemper fan boys who revel in it.

Did the noise go away with the new one Andertons gave you?
-
Wondering if anyone has seen this before and resolved it?
Rig, store and undo buttons have turned a yellow color, some others have done the same too.
-
Recently got the HS8s. Absolute overkill I now realize but I can't be bothered sending them back to Thomann for smaller ones, bigger is better right?

Cheers!
