Right now on my screen at least the difference between a thread with new replies and one that's been read is very subtle which makes it hard to read at a glance. Would it be possible to improve this by changing the color of the font in addition to the current bold?
Make threads with new replies more obvious

I use the "Unread Posts" Forum view, almost all the time. It only shows threads that I haven't seen, or have been updated since I last looked at them:

That's not a bad workaround if you're keeping on top of things, but I tend to just frequent a couple of subforms and just want to see what's changed in there rather than over the whole site.

I find the same on my Mac and iPad. The dark green and lighter green are pretty similar so I often find it hard to see which ones haven’t been read.

You can get Notifications of new threads and posts in specific Forums/Subforums:
Use the Manage Subscription icon (above the "+create thread" icon, on the right):
Select
-Watch this Forum
and
-Receive notifications for new threads

Agreed. I've been struggling with this since the last update of the forum software.
