Get On Down

  • I wanted to try some drop tuning (B#) to see what it was all about so I just made a simple Southern Rock riff and went on from there. Still working on my timing and palm mute chugs (which is harder than I expected). The solo probably should be a bit louder but I'm not good enough for that yet.

I'm hoping to get one more mix out before my Trigger Finger surgery next Wednesday. Then I go on synth and midi for a month.

  • Tight & low, well done,

Good luck for that surgery , synths ain't that bad, and maybe it's time to take some vocal training ?

Thanks Renaud! oh yeah... vocals... I have one cover song picked out so far to try. I've been wanting to create at least one EDM/Disco tune too.

  • I decided to remix this (because I am bored) and let the raw guitar come forward for the solo. I also cut some frequencies on the Rhythm to see if I could remove some harshness.
