I'm on the latest release and noticed I can no longer scroll through my performances by holding down the up or down buttons (for example to get from Performance 1 to Performance 50 quickly and not clicking 50 times). Is this a feature or a bug? It may have appeared in earlier releases but I just noticed this. I have two Kemper/Remote sets and they're both behaving the same. Thanks

Thanks. I've done that as well. I was curious if this has happened to anyone out there or I am an unlucky pioneer.

After about 18 months of daily use, I looked down last night to see the "up" button on my remote had come loose after moving to the next song in my performance. I believe I have all the parts captured but couldn't figure out how to re-assemble. Looks like the nut worked its way loose and the button, spring and lock washer basically rolled down the slope of the remote to the floor. Looking inside, there's some sort of threaded mate for it that wants to slide around the inside of the remote. Does anyone have experience with this? I will try to post pictures later today.
Thank you

One more vote for the USB theory here. I've used mine just about every day for over a year and it only froze when a laptop was connected. Happened maybe three times. Rock solid otherwise.

Thank you. What's a kaos file?

Hello friends, my second Kemper is on the way. My intention is to keep the 2nd one at home full-time, tweak and experiment with new performances and rigs, etc. My primary will travel to gigs and rehearsal sites. #2 will also serve as a backup just in case something goes wrong with #1. What's the best method to keep them in sync with one another periodically? Is it as simple as taking a USB drive backup from #2 and restoring to #1?
-
Good to know as I'm THISCLOSE to buying a second Kemper. Thank you, Timo!

Great! Thanks for the awesome community support as always.

How easy is it to take the backup from one Kemper and restore to another? I have many performance slots I'd need to migrate and I'm hoping I wouldn't have to do it one by one in Rig Manager.
-
Sorry to hear that. I upgraded via RM and used in it 3 rehearsals across maybe 25 performance slots. No issue here other than tweaking reverb settings.

I've been using a Furman PL-PLUS DMC with no issues at all. https://www.furmanpower.com/pr…voltammeter-PL-PLUS%20DMC
How did you determine it's related to your power supply?

If you have more than 25 feet of remote cable, you'll need a PoE device to amplify the signal, that's in the manual, including which PoE devices are tested and recommended.
This 30 footer has been working fine for me since May (knock on wood). This brand is mentioned elsewhere in this thread. I own 10, 20 and 30 foot versions. Six thumbs up.

Add me to the list of this who've played in high 90's heat. For what it's worth, I also had a gig over Halloween in Pennsylvania playing outdoors (on a moving parade float no less) at 40 degrees. No issues at all with the rig (my hands were another matter).

So after months of research and conversations here on the forum I finally made my decision on the FRFR upgrade. I went with thew Mission Engineering lo cab: https://missionengineering.com…ission-io/?v=f24485ae434a
Amazing deal at Musicians Friend. With a discount coupon $710 shipped! Lightweight, looks good. I couldn't pass this one up and Mission is known for quality gear. There are no good youtube clips on this but I have a good feeling about this one. Why this model isn't even mentioned, I don't know. It's been under the radar this year. It should arrive next week so I'll give it a review.
Just bought an Io myself. We should compare notes soon. I have the Gemini 2 and it's great but was looking for something more portable.

Another vote for -18db here. Two gigs and many rehearsals so far at that setting. That gives plenty of signal to the board. For me it’s locked and I don’t imagine ever changing it.
-
Thanks, Burkhard. Makes sense now. I'm backing up before I download the super exciting spring reverb release.
-
I feel the same. Just completed my 2nd gig with it and now downloading the spring reverb beta. I'm completely hooked. Locking at -18db makes life easier for everyone (FOH sound, in-ear monitor consistency, etc.). It's funny how much I now notice my bandmate's inconsistent volume from place to place using a mic'd cabinet.

Do the backups from Rig Manager and the Kemper itself via USB achieve the same result? Any difference in content?
-
I like that one too. Sounds good and seems well built. My only issue is the convenience of sitting the Kemper on top of something cab shaped works better for me.
I’m very happy with my Mission Gemini 2 and I routinely have my Kemper rack on top of it. Very versatile and can get very loud if you want it to.

Congratulations Hope you love it.
