I agree. It should've had the full processing capabilities. Even more so the fact it interfaces with a phone. I won't be getting it. I think they missed the boat on this product.

It's almost all gone. Wow,
-
I wonder if Leo Gibson influenced this patch.

IRL I don't care what anyone thinks, whether that's what I play or what I use or what I write. I find that pisses people off, even close musician friends that I don't care about their opinions. But I don't. The most important thing is to be yourself, especially when playing your own material.

I use SPDIF because it avoids another DA/AD conversion and is the quickest connection possible for most scenarios/hardware.

There's more chance that mobiles running Android will be supported, then, back ported to Linux.
However, there's also the Steam Deck pushing for improved support on Linux for gaming. Considering Steam also sells music making software, then, there's a chance that the tide will turn sooner rather than later.
On the other hand; there's also Windows supporting ARM, so, we could potentially see even wider adoption for Windows, rather than less.

Yeah, we need a few examples to hear what the problem is.
-
I'd say more people could pre-Kemper than post-Kemper. Things have improved across the board, whether that's vst or multi-effects. It's so much harder now.
-
The truth is we're greedy mf's and want everything. I've even profiled my favourite Guitar Rig 4 sounds onto my Kemper. I've even profiled Bias Amp amps from my ipad. Why do I have over 25k profiles? Because it stops the GAS.
As soon as I saw Neural Quad Cortex profiles I downloaded them. Do I actually own that piece of hardware? Nope. Do I feel like I've got something similar? Yes. Am I greedy? Absolutely.
-
and there lies the 'problem' with the Kemper. All these new toys come out and we can just profile them and have those sounds as well.
It's not fair is it?
-
At this point there is no doubt that the plugins are here to stay and they are not "toys" anymore . Just recently an upcoming metal band that some of you might know, called Spiritbox, released they debut album. Completely recorded using the Archetype Nolly for the dirty sounds and Plini for some cleans.
The album has gone to number 13 in Billboard 200, so I think that can be called very serious recording too.
Mike Stringer, the guitar player, was previously using a Kemper live and now he uses the Quad Cortex.
That's the thing though, there's too many tone chasers with no songs. If you've got the songs then it doesn't matter what you use. Whether that's a cheapo Valeton GP100, Kemper or full tube amp + pedalboard setup.
-
Hardly ever used setlists unless it was an important gig. It really depends on your own competency.
In rehearsal we play our songs deliberately in a random order so we can play any song at any time. However, its a full amp and pedalboard setup. Although I can do most stuff just using a Valeton GP100 in Stomp mode and 2 patches.

I think the correct name of the colour is piss.

Thanks JimmiKatt, but, that didn't work for me
However, I managed to fix it.
Go to;
1. Control Panel
2. Hardware and Sound
3. Devices and Printers
4. Mouse 2 over 'Profiler' and select 'Properties'
5. Select 'Hardware' tab then click 'Properties' box
6. In the new pop-up box in 'General' select 'Change Settings'
7. Another box will pop-up. Now select 'Driver' tab, then, click 'Update Driver'.
8. It should now detect the Kemper Profiler and will work again with RM.
-
Did you restart your computer and profiler?
Yep, everything. System detects the profiler, but, the RM just doesn't seem to see it,
-
Hi, I just updated both and now RM doesn't see my Kemper anymore. Was working with previous updates. I used a USB stick to update my Kemper firmware as RM didn't detect my Kemper. Using W10 Pro.
Anyone else seeing this bug?
-
Interesting. I actually just bought a Triple Wreck 3wks ago, which I've been using with my JCM2000 TSL122 for rehearsal. I like it tbh, but, it'll never truly sound like a Mesa as my Marshall's character still comes through.
-
Ok, so basically with preset settings sheets we could technically recreate the QC experience even closer by adding those effects back...
Anyone got time to take this to the next level?

Is your coaxial cable the digital version? It only works properly with digital coaxial cable.
I have the same setup except for original RME Babyface and only 1 box. Set RME clock source to "optical in" and 44.1khz
