Doing expression pedals via midi works really well in the kemper.

The fabled Eventide 'H990' !!

Taxes and fees will be charged on import to the UK.
Yep.
Now that we've (the UK) left the EU - its just like buying from the US - you play the import duty/VAT lottery. UKBorderforce/Tax office don't check everything - but if they do look at your parcel - your carrier pays it on your behalf, and they ask for you to pay this at the point of delivery - or before its sent out. Often with a handling fee added on top.
But its a lottery. You may win making it a £500 bargain. My fingers are crossed for you.
NB - I bought a Triaxis from Germany, and a Terratec Axon from Holland and didn't get taxed - so you can win !

£499 is amazing value
You my friend, have forgotten about tax.

I like how android control appears...... then a Kemper that would be cool to control from ANY phone is announced. Nice !
Putting amps into pedals and onto boards has become very popular. Even though they have limited numbers of amps in them. This is a pedal that is EVERY amp.
Regarding the price - its 2 and 1/3 times a UAFX amp in a pedal (or are we still pricing things in Boss DS-1s ?). So not bad. The YooToob whiners will complain - but any good noise gate will trim them out of the mix

Liquid profiles for the masses* !
*who player guitar or bass.

Hola amigo !
Welcome to having 'all of the amps'

Did pedalboard/case carpet become much more like 70's shag pile while I was napping ?
Put a set of thicker feet on it.

Very nice !

Very cool ! Space for more pedals !!

The used price of some gear is seasonal. While the overall trend is down, a couple of times a year there's a rise in Kemper price..... data from Reverb. Peeps having less money due to Christmas/holidays tax time probably have an effect on this.
What this does show me, is that I got a bargain when I bought my Kemper (I bought just after the release of the Stage which caused a glut of Kempers on the used market - leading to some super bargains !)

Now that’s ageism and we can’t tolerate that here….
/massivesarcasm #itsajoke
Exactly. I spent today playing with 32year old Triaxis. Which I think has its original tubes (or the last owner bought Mesa tubes). Sure, both of us have dodgy knees, and mainly forget why we were here.... goshdarnit. Get off my lawn.

One thing we know for certain. Kemper will fix it.

I think, across my pedals and rack, I have at least 8 tuners. I wonder. Should I see if they all agree ?
NO - the answer might make for unpleasant reading - and internet controversy.
-
The Synergy rack poweramp (made for their Syn-1 and Syn-2 preamps) would be cool to try (Steve Vai has it in his rack). But its waaaaaaaay over budget.

I had a Marshall 8008. (which I bought for £80.08 as the seller had a sense of humor).
It was very good. Better for modeler/profilers than the heavier and ,more expensive valve based Marshall 9100 which I replaced it with.
They have a linear or guitar mode switch. linear makes for a flatter response which worked well with my 'other modeler' and cabs.

A Christmas stocking stuffer from Kemper this year? I have 5 tuners and still not enough.
"Man with one tuner knows he is in tune. Man with 5 tuners is never quite sure."
Old proverb.

I wonder if it may have been impossible in the past as RM wasn’t receiving audio. However, the new USB audio functionality may be the gateway necessary. Just thinking out loud.
You may have something here !

As an older gentleman, I often can't remember why I came into a room, nevermind the preset names !

On the rack (and I'm assuming the toaster)You can have a mono or stereo effects loop. But only one. The manual shows were to stick the cables etc.
But the Stage has more i/o. The back panel looks like it has a mono and a stereo effects loop.
Anything you put in front of the amp black get flattened to mono - so your pre -amp fx can go in the mono loop. Stereo post amp FX in a stereo loop after the amp.
