I really start thinking this pedal doesn't work with my kemper.
I get the message! Thank you anyway!
I really start thinking this pedal doesn't work with my kemper.
I get the message! Thank you anyway!
I did this only for a for short moment because I get an awful noise...
At first, thank you all for your repleies...! Much appreciated!
I have a powerd Head. And I've down everything as in the video. I do have sound now, but the fx is far from what I have heard on the internet and in videos
guitar > Kemper input > Kemper send > cloudburst > Kemper return.
Side note: nothing in Cloudburst can't be be done by the reverb in the Kemper
This is a puzzle to me. Do you mean this?
1. guitar to input Kemper
2. at the back of the Kemper send to input Cloudburst
3. output cloudburst to Kemper return
But this leaves me no Monitor Out and Direct Out, normally needed for my two QSC powered speakers!
I have this brandnew pedal for using with my profiler. I've been working for hours to get this pedal working, but all in vain. There's no sound whatsoever. Would someone be so kind to help me and explain which routings I need for getting sound ?
BTW: the output of my guitar goes to the input of the pedal. The output of the pedal goes to the return input at the back of the profiler.
At the front I used the X slot which is set to Loop mono (while the pedal is true stereo).
All I hear is a lot of loud creaking noise and very loud.
Thank you all for your reponses and explanations! These surely will help to find me in the future to get what I want. Also that video of Tone Junkie helps a lot! This shows real good examples, with sometimes a bit over the top I downloaded this video for having a good manual. Thanks again!
There are hundreds of so-called clean rigs in RM but they all sound dull, boring and lifeless, even after adding treble and presence from my profiler. At 12 o'clock rig volume there's even almost no sound audible and also they all sound alike. From all those 22658 rigs in my RM there isn't any that sounds pristine, clear, bright, crispy and with a substantial amount of volume. The ones that do have volume are quite distorted so that they are useless too.
Am I missing here something or is it really hard or even impossible to get or to make a really nice clean useable tone with enough basic volume?
Is it possible with the profiler to achieve a reverb similar from the Strymon Cloudburst Ambient Reverb? Or is buying this pedal the only option to get this beautiful deep ambient reverb?
I think I get it. I unticked Autoload, pressed EXit and started all over. Then I see the Load Type function again. Thank you!
maybe you clicked the soft button underneath Autoload and deactivated the Autoload option.
Not really. I always take a first look for the Load function or
Yes, tried this and finally I got out. When I started all over again the the same stomp screen showed that it does have a LOAD TYPE an LOAD PRESET! Is this a kind of malfunction...
This week I also had something like this: my profiler was in the middle of starting up when suddenly the screen froze! Nothing would work. Finally with chicken head shut down.
I have a Roland FC 200 midi pedal. Onboard is a volume pedal. In System I have set this to pedal 1 (vol 0007). Works fine. The volume pedal on my board has a range from 0 to 127 when go up and down. But I'm looking for a setting for a minimum and a maximum (rhythm and lead). Can this be done?
There's a video about this issue, but one uses a Mission Silver pedal for arranging this in RIG! However, When turning the corresponding knob to location Pre Stomps then it's possible to get a minimum and maximum under Range. In my case however, using the pedal from my board there's no option Pre Stomps available in which I can arrange that! ,
I have a rig in which I have added some effects. Normally you can add them by pressing the load button within the stomp. This way I get a phaser, a delay, some reverb and a boost. Now I want to add a distortion klon 1. Auto Type and Autoload are ticketed but there's no load. So I'm stuck with a stomp screen that won't disappear.
This type of product is designed for use in the U.S. Outlets and has another voltage than we have in The Netherlands, so I'm afraid this won't work here. Thanks anyway BayouTexan.
Practising at home means quite some guitar noise. Not always fun for the family... So I've tried cabled headphones but when I want to change some settings in my profiler I'm tripping and stumble over the cable. So as my NUX 5RCc wireless connection to my profiler I'd like to ear buds for wireless listening during rehearsing. I've tried some but they only work with iphone or smartphone or Android phone,
Is it actually possible to use earbus with the profiler? I know there's a headphones input at the front but this for wired ones.
OK! Thanks, Ruefus!
I always use two powered monitors for my powered Profiier and the Monitor Out and Direct Out go the 2 inputs on the mixer. In the Output section - Output Volumes there is also a Monitor Out link that can be ticketed. What is its function, because in System, page 5/18 I can control my volume pedal on my midi board without ticketing.
It seems I've got a smilar problem as one mentioned in topic July 18.
I use 2 jack cables from Monitor out and Direct out to 2 jack inputs on a mixer. Then I connect 2 QSC 1000 W. K8 speaker cabs to the L+R outputs on the mixer both with XLR cables. All for monitor reasons. Main outs go to large mixer.
With this connections my guitar volume drops significantly. Raising the potmeters on the mixer doesn't help. Raising more gain on mixer results quickly in red blinking leds. Raising Output on the Profiler seems to me not a good idea. Raising my volume pedal from minimum to max (for soloing) has also no effect. Volume stays at a certain (low) level on stage.
Someone with an idea?
That's the excuse I would use on my wife. Works every time.
If I may say...alle these guys were always knowing what they were doing. And what about this: Do you know any well known guitar player who is still chained to a cable on stage...? They are all wireless, so it can't be that bad.
OK, cabled Hendrix was God in those days but I wonder what he would prefer now...
