you must be doing something fundamentally wrong in that case. As Kellerblues already stated the Strymon offers nothing that the Profiler could not do already so maybe you should consider returning the Strymon for a refund instead of wasting your time trying to figure out how to integrate it into your signal flow.

also make sure to set the strymon to deliver a stereo signal and make sure that the mix is set to fully wet on the strymon and then control the actual dry/wet balance with the mix parameter in the FX loop of the Profiler
-
did you connect the outputs of the strymon to the return and alternative input to get a stereo signal?
-
you cannot use an FX loop and the monitor stereo option on a Profiler Rack or Head at the same time. In that scenario, you have to connect the speakers to the main outputs. The send on the Profiler is the direct out not the monitor out.
-
and make sure to use the stereo fx loop in the MOD or X slot. Using a mono fx loop for a reverb pedal is pointless.
-
how are you monitoring the signal?
Are you experiencing the same issue when you listen through headphones connected to the Profiler headphone output?
Check your output source settings and make sure you use Master Mono or Master Stereo. Only these two will give you the full signal chain.
I have no idea how the issue you are reporting could be caused by using an expression pedal that is configured as a wah pedal though.
-
are you using a second pedal input for the footswitch in the pedal? Which function is assigned to it on the corresponding pedal settings page?
-
if you want to use the XLR outputs of the Stage you should use XLR to TRS cables. All the other outputs are unbalanced and should be connected with TS cables.
-
I haven't been able to absorb all the news & specs, but one question: are you able to load your own, personally captured profiles?
you can load any of the available rigs including the ones you created yourself.

der Player bietet nur 2 Effekte vor und zwei Effekte nach dem Stack. Eventuell zusätzlich verwendete Effekte aus einem Profiler Head/Rack oder Stage Rig werden ignoriert.
-
Well, as it can't do performances as well...you are right. You don't need a display as you only have 3 sounds at your disposal. So no real need to see if you are on the right sound.
the Player offers 10 banks with 5 rigs in every bank and the currently active rig is indicated by an LED button.
-
the DAW volume parameter controls the level of the signal that is coming from the DAW. The signal level that is going into the DAW is controlled by the rig volume parameter for the processed signal and the clean sens parameter for the unprocessed signal.
-
any standard expression pedal can be used with the Profiler to control all of the options that the Profiler offers (volume, wah, pitch and morph)
-
did you update your Rig Manager and Profiler OS as requested in the message?
-
you have to activate software monitoring for the track in Logic if you want to use a different interface for monitoring. But this will add latency to the signal. The best option is to connect the studio monitors to the Profiler or create an aggregated device.
-
you can control the stereo panorama for every rig but to switch between mono and stereo you would have to disable the effect section in the rigs that you want to use in mono.
-
if you experience clipping while the fx loop is placed in the effect section you should try turning down the amp volume.
-
check the system menu:
Looper Volume
Looper Volume attenuates the playback volume of the Looper by up to 12 dB. -
Is there anyway Kemper could make it possible to save profiles straight to other media storage device, computer hard drive etc directly instead of via USB stick?
you can transfer any file from Rig Manager to any storage device that is connected to your computer.
-
As a mere directory it's not preserving the precious thing. Namely one's tweaked profiles. Therefore I'm not sure what the point of it is. Probably due to my lack of understanding !
Let me try to explain it again: The Local Library is the place where you store your own rigs, presets and performances. It is stored on the harddrive of your computer. A Rig Manager backup will include exactly these files. It does not include the rigs that are in your Profiler.
