Got a .Strandberg* Boden OS 7 (in red) 2 weeks ago... The photo also shows my Boden 8 Custom Shop (black)
Awesome guitars!!
They look very cool and ergonomical.
I wish more brands would offer headstock-less guitar models. -
Just got this one yesterday ... after trying 15 - 20 different Les Pauls in the last 2 weeks.
There's a lot of hate about these to be found on the web but after trying and playing so many different ones, I can clearly state that this one is a great instrument ... the best of the ones I had the pleasure to try. And all the pointless hate lead to good deals.

You in the UK, I see it has a UK headstock?
Looks like Heritage Cherryburst.

To be honest, I didn't know the headstocks varied from country to country. Now I'm intrigued.......

Yes, the UK and Germany use a modified headstock.
Luckily for me, I get the correct headstock from Tokai.

Uaaaah... so nice one! However, this is a real value investment! -

Yes. That's the right attitude! -
@Bilbosmeggins
Do yo like to tell me what you are paid for as you bought it? -
Yeah, no problem. If my memory serves me correctly, I think I paid £1300 about a year ago. I bought it off a shop that had done a deal with the main UK Tokai dealer. It had only ever been taken around various exhibitions and had never been played 'til I bought it. That's the beauty of it being left-handed I guess. There are very few people will be tempted to try and play it. There was zero fret wear, and all metal work was brand new looking. It had picked up a couple of minor bruises over the years, but it is pretty much mint.

I'm still a bit frustrated with my Strat. Been all over the map with pickups. I like the SSL-1's and other pickups I've tried, but some of it is the guitar as well. Tuning issues, action issues. Everyone who plays a Strat knows this fight-back issue which kind of endears you to the Fender line when you tame it to some degree. Don't get me wrong, I love Fenders, but I'm ready for something more hassle-free but Fender in tone.
I want something that sounds like a classic strat but plays more like a PRS.
So I've decided to get a Suhr Classic Pro and give that a whirl. Jerry's Lefties in Sarasota, FL:

It'll come Tuesday. I chose it over the Anderson, Tyler, etc mostly because I wanted to stay under $2k for now. Maybe sell my American Strat and RS4 to recoup the price. (And so my wife doesn't beat me if she finds out)
I really dig the color. They started doing metallic colors recently but I like old school pastel auto colors. I had my Fender painted Daphne since lefties aren't offered in that color (unless you do $3600 custom shop. I had a CS Fender and it was a different guitar every day, I really was frustrated with it) but I think I like green better. This "Surf" is lighter than Fenders "Foam Green" Jerry tells me.
Jerry, btw, can order righties, but he keeps lefties only in stock. Ships worldwide. I've bought a few guitars from him and his descriptions of their playability and character are always honest. Nice guy to talk to.
