    Maybe an PoE switch or a Router (both devices connected) can help?
    If I have some time left, I will check.
    Would be nice if an Official of Kemper could give a short statement if such a connection (PoE switch or Router with ethernet and WLAN) could work!

    There is NO ETHERNET on the Stage, You can NOT connect it to a router.

    I've watched just about every video on YouTube about the TMP and am still not sure whether I want one or not. I ordered one for my 74th birthday (10-5), it will arrive next Monday. Until then I will not know if I'm going to keep it or not. It sounds good in some videos and not so hot in others. Some of that is probably due to video makers that don't know what they're doing (sound recording wise), different guitars/pickups, improper technique (wrong style of music for the type of amp), and other factors.

    I have about 25 guitars and 10 amps already but I really like the looks of the user interface. I hope it turns out to be something I like but I won't be able to tell until after next Monday. If I don't like it I can sell it pretty quick.

    I know it won't replace either of my Kempers because it doesn't do profiling and I still have 7 amps to profile. At present, Liquid Profiles are useless to me because the tone stack models aren't available yet. The last amp I profiled was a Fender TM Deluxe Reverb and when I applied the Kemper Fan D'Lux Nrm tone stack model the control for the mids was greyed out and an extra gain control was added. The Fender TM Deluxe has no gain knob, but the Kemper model gives me two of them (doesn't work for me) but the profile itself sounds exactly like the amp, I can deal with that but I have to make more profiles for different settings. Making extra profiles is no big deal but if the TMP models are close enough I won't have to do that.

    I paid $800 for the Fender TM Deluxe Reverb about 3 years ago and they sell for $949 today, so if the Fender TMP models are good I can't complain about the price.

    I have 9 amps but only 1 (Fender Deluxe Reverb) is on the list of modeled tone stacks. I have been waiting for the non-beta release of version 10 before updating. Now that it is here I am not sure what to use for the other 8 if I want to use Liquid Profiles.

    I have only profiled 2 of my amps, I will profile the Deluxe Reverb today to try out LP. I expect that to work well but not sure what to use the for the 2 amps I profiled before LP was a thing. I have a Fender Machete and a Hartke Kickback 12 Bass amp profiled and I like the profiles (very usable) but if I could make the tone stack controls to respond more like the real amp I would like to do that.

    The other amps I want to profile are;

    Fender Acoustic 100

    Fishman Loudbox Mini

    Quilter Steelaire

    Quilter Tone Block 202

    I would like to hear from amp techs who can point me in the right direction especially if they can tell me the differences/similarities between the substitute tone stack and the real amp. I don't want to hear "try it till you find one you like", I know I can do that but would rather not (and probably won't).

    If anyone has the same question about other amps without a modeled tone stack available, feel free to ask for it in this thread. If we do this right it could be a resource for many.

    the best way to do this is by using a USB stick. Only a USB stick backup will contain all of your data including rigs, presets, performances, and global settings.

    If you use Rig Manager you can use drag and drop to transfer rigs, presets, and performances between the connected Profilers but none of the global settings. While rigs and presets can be transfered in bulk you will have to transfer each performance separately.

    Does the OS version factor into the backup/ restore function at all?

    The noise I hear in your recording sounds familiar to many profiles I've heard. You might try switching of all/any effects in the profile or connected to the Kemper. If the noise goes away, turn on the effects back on one at a time until the noise returns. Then you can either tweak the parameters of that effect or replace it with something that doesn't leave those artifacts. The order of effects can also cause this problem.

    Happy hunting!

    Posts and reactions are used to calculate points and all of that is to assign a rating of beginner, student, enlightened. Which btw, is also meaningless.

    As you guessed, it's a residual from the software.

    Got this yesterday. I don't usually buy cheap guitars but this thing was only $199, looked good and has P90 pickups so I had to try it.. I didn't have any guitars with P90s until now but I really like the sound of these. Only fault I could find with this guitar is the G and B strings were a few cents sharp at the 12th fret, otherwise it came ready to play.

    ... I know we are going off topic but this is something I am totally frustrated about.

    Someone named HER has a Fender Signature Guitar and a insurance commercial. She picks 7 notes on TV. Never heard of her(HER). We are doomed.

    Maybe I'll go make some mediocre content...

    Gabi Wilson (H.E.R.) had more talent at 10 years old (15 years ago) than you've had in your entire life. How can you criticize anybody you don't know anything about? Don't you have YouTube?

    Comparing the Kemper to an x32 or quality interface is more than a little unfair. Apples and…..fish.

    Exactly! That is why I said;

    "I have found the USB audio of the Kemper to be of little use." Notice I am not talking about anyone but myself.

    Sure the Kemper USB audio is good for recording to a laptop, I absolutely agree. My GR-55, VG-99 and Korg Krome will do them same but I don't use their USB audio either.
