Yesterday the cable of my Remote had problems and I paid a technician to replace the plugs. After doing this I can no longer connect the Remote to Kemper...The cable is original and looking at the tester it is perfectly normal.
Can anyone help me, please? I have a show to do in three hours.
Thanks in advance.

Turn off the Profiler. Plug in the controller. Then turn on the Profiler. I have only plugged in the controller when the Profiler is off not when it is on. Don't know if that makes a difference but if it doesn't then it could possibly be a bad repair. Good Luck!

Thanks for reply.
I did this but it didn't fix it.

any cat5 cable will work, just try another one

I'm trying five different cables and nothing.
I'm sad because yesterday I only had a bad contact on the cable, but now I have nothing. -
If 5 cables don't work then it's more likely one of the connectors on the remote or the Kemper. You might try to look closely and see if any of the pins look bent or are touching one another.

I am having the same issue. I plugged the helix into the kemper via cat 5, and now the kemper remote just says "waiting for connection" and then goes blank

I'll check out it. Thanks for replying.

You could also try the following:
Press Rig Button 1 and TAP at your Remote simultaneously. Check if Autoselect is active and if your PROFILER appears in the list with its serial number. Select your PROFILER instead of Autoselect.
Connect your PROFILER to your network router and see if the PROFILER appears in the list of networked devices.

This is normal behavior.
The Profiler is not designed to connect to a Helix with a Cat5 cable, and the Helix is not designed to connect to Profiler with a Cat5 cable.

Yes, the Autoselect is active, but the PROFILER don´t appears in the list with its serial number.

If you connect the PROFILER to your router via ethernet cable, does it appear in the list of networked devices?

I don't know about that...can I safely connect Profiler to my router via ethernet cable?
Thanks for replying. -
Yes, you can.

Hi!
Same problem here. The Kemper can be found in the Network and and another Remote works with the exact same setup. The probably damaged Remote does not work with my other Kemper either. It stopped working from one day to another.
Anything else I could try?

I had the same issue (also posted here on the forum a couple of weeks ago). You can contact the support. I sent my Remote in for repair, but ended up buying a new remote as the repair was about 75% of the price of a new remote (with another ethernet cable and warranty).

Hello everyone, I updated Kemper and the problem was resolved. It had nothing to do with cable, plug, connector, etc.
