No, not correct. Are you maybe listening to the direct signal together with the processed signal?

I bet he mean Berts pack 1
Only if he acidentally his pack 1!!!

IIRC it should not matter if you can turn the noise gate off.
edit: But as MM just said it may not be so easy to really deactivate it.
-
Of course you can try it
Two things to keep in mind though: A lot of hifi speakers are less linear than you might think, but this is something you can just try. If you like it - good. If you don't like it - move on to something else. Quite often hifi speakers boost bass and highs so in a way you lose some mids (for which you can compensate).
More important though is that hifi speakers usually are designed for not that dynamic material like mixed and mastered music. If you play just a guitar through them it might be muchhh more dynamic. If you turn it up too loud (which you might not perceive as that loud ) you can easily destroy the speakers , especially with a clean sound. Therefore some caution might be advisable. -
Never trust google more than Mrs. Zambesi

It gives all profiles the same amount of latency. Useful / necessary for reamping to avoid phase issues.

Hallo
Wann bekomme ich das Packet?
Mfg M----r D-----iNot sure if that helps but "Packet" is not a german word at all

Well... he accidentally his Kemper!!!
-
Okay, I've had my fun. Will post my rig shortly for free.
If this gives you fun you really should go and seek some help. But please don't do it here
-
If you want to express your gratitude towards somebody who has created a great profile that you have made a lot of money with you will certainly find ways to do so!!! There is a good chance that you're able to contact the author of that rig here on the forum via PM.

I guess the code is:

I seem to remember that you have a Variax. If that is correct that might be an alternative for that song, at least until Kemper hq finally shows mercy regarding your feature request.
-
You must have smashed the input - it might be that you liked the sound of the overdriven preamp in the crimson. If so, you won't get the same over spdif. So you might need to find different profiles or tweak the ones you have. Mind you, that's not because the spdif connection is faulty - rather a result of abusing the gear
You could try to imitate that by using a channel strip or mixer strip plugin inside your DAW and by trying to crank that signal up to imitate an overdriven mic channel. Bad thing: That will not repair your Crimson Good thing: No further damage is to be expected
-
Some XLR inputs are not meant to handle line level. They are then usually labelled as mic-inputs. Might be the case with your Crimson.
-
Have you raised the Volume in your Kemper's output section? There are quite a few options so reading the manual may be a good idea . The Kemper has quite a strong output therefore i doubt that you cannot get a solid input on your interface.

Also...

Many mixers/engineers just use them because they're used to.
