Your Kemper does not need the internet to operate with IPad RM.
If you have a stage then you should be all set to use.
If you have the head/rack then things get more difficult as you will need to add router to create a local network and maybe a POE injector if you wish to use the foot controller. Not exactly suitable for venues but doable.
The manual will explain further.

Well there’s always the Kemper Kab which I like, but yeah the Laney LFR 212 looks like a beast, never tried one, maybe overkill for many?

You can find it in your Profiler, or in the "Kemper Factory Content 8.0" Kemper Rig Pack. It has been renamed "2011 More Gain AC20".

Even better, what about a new rotary effect that’s able to ape not only the Leslie but the Fender vibratone and Maestro rover and while we are at it maybe it could get into univibe territory as well, thinking along the lines of the fuzz and drive modules.

Yep I’ve been fooling around with it.
I think it’s great but this is not a one to one from the desktop.It’s designed for fingers and pencil and is definitely not a desktop replacement.
Still early days an a lot of stuff missing but it’s only ver 1.
Give it a go, 1 month free trial.

Sorry not at the Kemper at the moment but if memory serves me correct if you turn your knob to tuner mode there is an option deselect the tuner at 0, might want to check that it’s not selected.

Yep, been whinging about it since day one, and your right it should be a most basic function of the app, also access to all menus is my other gripe, it’s all local information to the Kemper so I don’t see where the problem is.

The iPad app was a godsend for my poor eyesight and I’m grateful for it but the OP has pointed to the obvious shortcomings.
The basic navigation of rigs and access to all the menus is well overdue.
I’m hoping the new android support will include these features and the iOS version will arrive with the update as well. -
