I have been using M Britt’s 68 plexi liquid profile and loving it but after the update it changed the tone of the profile.I was using the liquid plexi bright channel which sounded awesome then when the update uploaded it sounded horrible and it was like the bright channel became the normal channel very bassy and lifeless.
So i went back to OS 10.2.1 and all is good again so not sure what to think
The sound related code has not been touched between both revisions at all.

I think the update messes with the global cuts because they added cab cuts. It happened to me too.
One thing we know for certain. Kemper will fix it.

Yeah if you go to the output section it has low and high cut pots. But, now there are also cuts available at the cab section.

There has always been high and low cabinet shaping. Are you saying there are HPF and LPF in the cab section now? Are those being changed during the update?

The cabinet shaping you referred to are high and low shift. These are not HPF and LPF (cuts) like the Output Menu. Some users have been lobbying for the ability to apply different high and low pass filters on a rig by rig basis rather than as a global output setting for some time now. Kemper listened and added this feature by placing HPF and LPF in the cabinet section so that users don’t need to tie up an FX slot to achieve this.
I don know exactly how the cabinet version interacts with the output global version but I fully expect that it will work the same way as imprints etc. If there are no changes to the cabinet values then global applies but if either High Cut (LPF) or Low Cut (HPF) are set at any other than default value the cabinet settings take priority. It would be easy enough to confirm this with a quick test by setting to different extreme settings and listening to the results.
What I'm trying to find out is what changed when going to 10.2.2 to make it sound "horrible" as the OP reported. So far there have been no real specific answers. So is this true or false? Is something happening or not?

I'm cautiously waiting... I need to learn more about my Kemper for stuff like this... I was just about to update to the latest firmware, then stopped myself. I think I'm going to learn more about pure cab (I think I turn it off in two sections somewhere), locking and/or not-locking input/output/efx and any other settings (output and cab eq tweaks), do inventory on my efx presets (I'm at least organized w/ performances, rigs, and cabs/IR's. In any case, if I do an update and get weird symptoms, I don't really know how to trouble shoot. Love this gizmo though... freakin Kemper Stage is almost full up on great performances/rigs/IR's/efx, leveled, etc. Rock-on!...

I use the MBritt Plexi that the OP mentioned and it doesn’t sound any different than before the update.
