I clicked on a few LP packs and noticed they had the same number of profiles as the original standard packs. You did reply to my original query confirming that the LP profiles are new, but for absolute clarity - do you mean:

The amps were profiled from scratch again, but this time using the LP process; or
The existing profiles (where you know the original settings) were converted to LPs?

It's just that I want to buy LPs going forward, but my preference is to only buy ones produced by method 1. I particularly don't want to buy packs where I've previously bought the standard profiles and they've been converted.

I'm not questioning your honesty or quality of work, I'm just seeking absolute clarity for the reason given.

Hello Richard,

these Liquid Profiles are built from scratch.

Not all the packs have the same number of profiles of the original standard packs, for example the Peavey 5150 (50 standard and 30 liquid)...just to give you an example. For sure I try to offers at least 20 profiles and many original standard packs have 20 profiles this is the reason why you see in many liquid packs the same number of profiles.

Consider that when I profile I try to follow my notes that I collected during the original standard profiles capture to offer the most interesting variety to the end user. So if I see that create 22 liquid profiles make sense I do it.

As you know in the liquid profiles you have all the values (eq, gain etc) and the game starts there moving the knobs.

Hi Federico,

Could you please let us know what is the difference between the 34 different profiles in your Plexi LP pack?

I purchased this yesterday, more of as a way to thank you for the LP profile of yours that came with the LP Kemper upgrade - possibly my favorite profile with an IR change.

I haven't really started to play around with the new profiles yet, but when setting the dials to the same values (gain, bass, definition, etc), the profiles sound quite similar - would appreciate knowing what the difference is between the profiles as the description baked into the profiles don't tell us much.

Hello, as you know the main difference between a standard profile and a liquid profile starts when you move pots. I tried to offer the most complete range of shades to start from. Each profile has been caught with different settings in mic positions, pre eq etc. Sometimes small differences but I can assure you that the evolution of the profile tweaking is completely different. My suggestion, as you did probably with the standard profiles, is to select the ones you love more and start tweaking to reach you sound.
