just bought this profiler head from recommendations from the band OTHERWISE. looking for some good bass tones as in am donE hauling around swr amps and cabs . looking for some bass profiles along the lines of disturbed and pop evil,etc any suggestions ?

Profile-wise I can't help much with the stuff you mentioned. Potentially start looking on the RigExchange for either SWR or as well Ampeg SVT/8x10 combinations. The latter is a pretty safe bet for all rock stuff. Adding some distortion in the Stomps section might do the trick.

What deadman42 and BayouTexan said is good advice IMHO.
Rig Manager is your friend for so many reasons. Just be sure to explore all the search and sorting (clicking columns) features. A typical M.O. might be to narrow the field via the search window and then click an appropriate column to sort.
