SURE Sooner or later!
I was struggling with Shoot to Trill, RnR ain't Noise Pollution and High Voltage yesterday.
I LOVE Ac/Dc!
This SG was all original but I had to change the bridge Volume pot (300k) cause it has a dead point exactly at 7, Where I use to get the crunch sound!
I've also switch PUs 'cause the original 498T wasn't so great for the Sound I have in My mind.
I ve recorded the lead gtr of "Bronks" with it before my mods.
It's a good guitar in the end, a simple USA, not a CS, but it Rocks!

Will some pray that G&L ships out my telecaster. This will make two Christmas' I've waited for it under the tree and a no show.

My weird experiment. Got some odd 20 years dried pine blanks as a gift from my in-laws, so I had to use them for something. So I started with the idea of trying out how a P90 loaded Bass VI would sound like. Well it ended up as "not good" with P90's. Redid the pickups routes for EMG's and now it sounds fantastic.
6-strings, 30" scale, pine body, birch veneer top, maple neck, padauk board. Stainless frets, green glowy dots. Couple other experiments with this as well, again tried to rehearse my binding work, which ended not so good (again). I'll maybe redo the binding in the future. Also tried to do some inlays with my Aufero laser, which didn't work out very well either. The insides worked perfectly, but the board itself ended up taking some fire damage so I had to fill the gaps with CA and end result is not so pretty.
Oh well, it's a practice piece and it sounds good so enough for me.

Backordered - their favorite word I guess. G&L doesn't make large runs like the other companies and they get scooped up pretty quickly when in stock. I ordered thru Sweetwater figuring they would have the most influence on getting it faster. I guess not.

I bought a cheap G&L tele. The lipstick pickup was hands down the worst sounding pickup I have ever heard. Popped my old Squire Strat pickup in. Night and day.
Not crapping on G&L, just trying to soften the blow of not getting the guitar you want My friend has a good G&L Tele and its the best sounding guitar I have ever heard. Hope it comes soon for ya!

They sound better than the MiM Fender teles, IMO. I can wait longer. I just won't be doing any chicken-picken for a while.
