After not being able to log-in for approx 2 weeks (ish) this forum now at last allowed me to login today and it appears that Kemper have at last set my serial number against my original account.

Whoever did it Thank you very much....and by the way, please make the login process more simple and much more robust !

It's a pleasure! This took some time, because this process was new to some of us internally as well (e. g. me). We are actually looking into potential streamlining ....

For further details regarding MIDI operations please refer to the KPA Reference Manual, which you can download from our support page.

As a KPA owner you should upgrade your membership to this forum in order to be able to create new threads, if you havn't already done so.
Please use the Login on our Kemper homepage (top right corner)

    http://www.kemper-amps.com

Logged in you will see the tab 'REGISTER YOUR AMPLIFIER'. You will need the serial number of your KPA, which you can either find on a sticker on the bottom of your unit or alternatively on the last page of the SYSTEM-menu. Yes, the serial number starts with KPA.......

Please try a reset of the System settings by pressing and holding the SYSTEM button, while switching your KPA on.

More than one consecutive blank in a rig name - also at its end - can cause, that a MIDI Program Change # assigned to this rig, will get lost during restart!

This problem is fixed in 1.0.3 public beta.

For older firmware versions, please generally avoid multiple consequtive blanks in rig names.

You can store Local Presets of any individual component of the signal chain (Input, Stomp ABCD, Amp, EQ, Cab, X, MOD, DELAY, REVERB)* as well as on group level (STOMPS, STACK, EFFECTS).

If you for example have STACK in focus and push the STORE button, you can chose either to store the complete rig or capture a preset of the stack.
In order to leverage such presets in any other rig, You just need to put the corresponding component or group into focus. Now you can browse through your presets stored before and load one of those.

This is a very effective method to capture and leverage your favorite building blocks.

*Presets of the MASTER settings are not yet available.
