USB Audio and Pro Tools: Sample rate

    Installed the 10.2.1 update today, eager to out the USB Audio. All my projects are recorded at 48 Hz.

    The tutorial video suggests that most DAWs will accept a different sample rate (Kemper's 44.1 Hz).

    This is certainly the case with Logic Pro (no problems there), but does not appear the case with Pro Tools...

    – unless I'm missing something really obvious (and I'm good at that!) ,-)

    You are not missing anything. Pro Tools does not do sample rate conversion, so therefore you either need to start recording at 44.1 with the Kemper or go back to the old way of using your Kemper with an audio interface.
