What is the current best practice for new profiles involving LP?

  • Hey everyone,

from what i gather from the manual and posts here, liquid profiles are best done with gain on 10, EQ settings on 5 or 10.

Refining is best done with a guitar with wide frequency response and with hard hitting chords.

What is the best way to set the return level correctly? I listen for clipping and look at the output light to check, if it doesn't start to get into yeallow territory, but a better clipping meter would surely be helpful - is there a better way to check this?

    Thanks for any input!
