yes 80watt per side. No tubes.
You can choose Linear Or Valvestate mode that mimics a valv-ish sonic reaction.
I prefer Linear (more flat/hi-fi)
and I also prefer this compared to a tube power amp... but, that's just personal taste.

No, SS. Valvestate emulates the tube response. Had one in a Rack together with a POD X3, Intellifex and BBE. Was using an Engl 2x12 or a Marshall 2x12
I had a Marshall 8008. (which I bought for £80.08 as the seller had a sense of humor).
It was very good. Better for modeler/profilers than the heavier and ,more expensive valve based Marshall 9100 which I replaced it with.
They have a linear or guitar mode switch. linear makes for a flatter response which worked well with my 'other modeler' and cabs.
LoL I got them for 90€ and 100 € but 80.08 Pounds is the perfect price!

The Synergy rack poweramp (made for their Syn-1 and Syn-2 preamps) would be cool to try (Steve Vai has it in his rack). But its waaaaaaaay over budget.
