Kemper Profile Packs: Diezel VH4 and Peavey 6505

  • Hi guys,

I just wanted to let you know that we released our first Profile Packs for the KPA. We created these packs of the Diezel VH4 and Peavey 6505 specifically for rock, punk, metal and hardcore guitarists and producers to quickly and easily get awesome sounding guitars in the mix.

We shot the profiles with a great sounding Mesa Rectifier 4x12 cab, and some of the profiles have an overdrive pedal (Maxon or Ibanez) "baked in" for additional tightness. We did the profiling in a really nice studio room, using great mics, as well as super high quality preamps and converters.

Each pack contains 9 profiles of different settings (low gain to very high gain) and/or microphone combinations. The packs are currently on introductory sale for 5.99 EUR per pack (price goes up to 7.99 at the end of this month)

You can check out two short demos here:

  • As mentioned in the other thread, I really like the free profile, thank you.

Question, in what way were the converters used in profiling process?

We ran multiple mics in this session (SM57, Beta57, Neumann U87 and an AKG LDC) so we went through very good Neve-type preamps with each mic and mixed the mics through the converters! Man, thanks, really appreciate the feedback and your question!
