I received some profiles that were saved on a mac computer, they will not open in windows, is there a fix for this ?

It should not make a difference whether you have the files on mac or windows. The file extension works on both.
"rig_name.kipr".
What file type are you trying to open? A compressed file?

The profiler file format is universal and does not depend on the type of operating system that the computer uses.
Please describe how you try to import the files into the local library or the My Profiler location in Rig Manager. Are you seeing any error messages when you try to import the files?

... which is why I suspected a zip decompression issue Hans.
I guess we'll know when the OP provides more info.

I just did this and even the backups worked across the platforms without an issue.
