Has anyone already figured out what this apparent led is for
Unknown led

-
It is no LED, but a sensor.
-
So what's the "sensor" for? Anyone figured that out?
-
I read somewhere that its a light sensor for the display.
-
My understanding is that it is a light sensor, but has not been utilized.
-
Its a talent sensor. The KPa on;y boots up if someone with talent tries to play through it
-
What in the world would it need to sensor?

Thanks for making my day Alan! Awesome!

Because if you play outside or in a darker room or you have lights for your show, with the sensor can adjust your display automatically so it can be seen.

That would not make sense because my TV is full brightness whether is daylight or night time so I can always see it. Maybe that's why Kemper gave up on it. I have my screens on full all the time.
I hope it wasn't some dumbass energy-saver feature. Good riddens on that!

Smartphone displays automatically vary their brightness. Computers will as well. You can disable it, but all sorts of displays vary their brightness settings.
I’ve never seen a television with an automatic brightness adjustment.

"Screw that....Enough people judge my playing as it is...." -
I've had my Kemper Remote for 2-3 years and just noticed that sensor a few days ago... doh!

Don't feel bad, I'm still trying to figure out how to put the bread in the toaster.
