This thing is a BEAST. I'm going to profile it through my 2x12, which now has EVM 12L speakers :). Expect some free Kemper profiles soon*

These old beasts are quite hard to profile. Good luck
How come? Does the Kemper find it difficult? Do you have any advice/tips to get a decent profile of the Mark III?
Depends it had some troubles with my IIc+ but worked great with Thumas. I think tubes also have an impact on this. Do you want to make direct profiles or o my studio profiles ?
Ahh okay. I'll see how I go. I had similar trouble profiling my dual rectifier rack setup (recto preamp with a 2:100 poweramp). The profiler kept coming up with a really flubby bass that sounded like it was clipping. It's surprising because there are lots of free and commercial profiles of the Dual Rec out there which sound great. I've posted about it in another thread. Going to try and have a go at that again as well.
I'll try to make merged profiles, especially seeing as I have these awesome speakers in my cabinet now. The Mark III it has the slave output (which you told me about) which means creating merged profiles will be very easy! I'm going to try the fredman technique for mic'ing, have you heard of it? It sounds pretty interesting. You need two SM57 mics for it.
Yep DT Awake album used this technique
tip : try first Ditect amp profile. Take the TSM M7 profile (disable the cab) by Thumas and use it as a reference when profiling. Try to make your amp sound as fat and well balanced. Try Return profiling level to be at -5db
when you have a very good direct amp profile, then try to get a great studio profile, then merge.
I used the TSM M7 profile to make my JP pack
Hi everyone,
I've uploaded four new profiles of my Mesa/Boogie Mark III Coliseum, under the author 'Salokin Flow'. They're studio, profiled with an SM57.
I'll be doing some more soon, which will be merged. Let me know if you think they are too bright/brittle.
Thanks for sharing!
thank you!
These Mk III profiles are very good. Great that you have used the EV12Ls with this amp. Thanks for sharing.
Great thanks.
Do this amp have reverb and eq (I remember them as optional feature) ?
Cheers guys.
Yes it has both reverb and the eq. The EQ was engaged for all the profiles(classic v-shape)
Finally, you did it!
Well done, and thank you, MCVA44.
Thanks a lot. I'll try them soon. Keep it up.
thank you!!!
Thank you!
You already thanked him in 2016, Brother Paul.
how can i download?
You'd have to search the Rig Exchange for his name, which incredibly is the same as mine so I'm reluctant to share it.
I've saved you the trouble, volkan. Here are all his Mesa Profiles, mate:
